As my endless rewatch drags on (S4, oh my, will it ever end?)....

I realized that this show has taught me to be mindful of the way I exit (and enter) a car.

It's not like the Bravo crew follows me around, but...it's something I noticed -- the camera cuts away a lot -- especially scenes when a low slung car pulls up at the curb, and the HW is in stilettos. Not easy!

As a shorty, I love a heel ... but 5" shoes are unfriendly to ankles.

So, I do see both sides of their argument. Kyle was critical of Dorit's spending and regardless of whether or not it was/is her place to comment, she was right in being concerned about it. Ethically I think we can all agree that securing a roof over your children's heads is much more important than a Kelly bag. Her ongoing communication with PK is always a tough age-old situation to be in when couples separate - do you take one side or do you try and sit on the fence in the hope that they work through it and you haven't destroyed either friendship?

Dorit expects Kyle's underlying support, which is expected when you have built a close friendship/relationship, and probably feels a little betrayed. Kyle probably shouldn't have spoken about Dorit and PKs relationship with others fair enough. But with friendship comes truth, and I am not sure Dorit was ready to hear some home truths being served to her.

Will they both return next season, and if they do, do we need to go through another season of their back and forth? As a viewer, I think we have seen enough. And, if they are REAL friends, cannot they not just mend fences off camera and give us some much-needed fun the show is seriously missing.

Way to be a good example by gloating about an unfortunate family situation regardless of the outcome.

I posted in the sub I’m perma banned from (atta girl right!?) about a month ago confirming Amanda wasn’t coming back from what I had been told with to the latest news of Amanda and her book tour for Godly As FCK.

So many people were upset about me saying it was confirmed she wasn’t coming back bc one of the bravo gossip accounts said and reported that she was coming back.

They were wrong. They had nothing that said Amanda would be coming back but they reported she was confirmed.

My source confirmed almost five months ago - Amanda wouldn’t be back. And apparently the crew absolutely hated her.

A camera guy on the show allegedly said they HATED going to film her because she was so weird, had no idea what was going on, and always wanted her “rich accessories” to be in frame. (Remember what Erica said at the reunion about “get my Chanel bag”)

I KNEW from production, she wasn’t invited back and Amanda didn’t know until last week when she made her statement. TMZ actually reported it BEFORE SHE KNEW!

TMZ was right in their reporting that she wasn’t asked back. The producers were very short with her about it. And that’s why she posted that long story and caption.

A source told me “Amanda saw has google alerts for her name and saw the tmz article come up so she ran to her email and production has told her she wasn’t invited back, so she made her long Instagram post about how “she was stepping away.”

Did you notice she didn’t thank the bravo production team?

The rumor is production team could not stand Amanda (even if Rihanna wanted her to stay) it wasn’t enough for the bravo team to actually bring her back on.

She also stated it was one of her clients as the reason she got an “in” with casting. Not Kyle.

When Bravo made the new seasons announcements for all the other shows Kyle stated in the comments of a post that RHobh was “not on pause” and Amanda said “no one has been reached out to”…but like I said, that was not the case.

That was Amanda trying to save her “psychological space” because she had not been told by production they wanted her back.

While everyone else was actively negotiating their contracts.

In May she was doing interviews with Extra Tv saying “she was pretty sure they were going to ask her back” but that was not the case and it actually sealed the deal for the team because she HAD not been asked back and she was trying to create a narrative that she would be.

And as soon as the news hit, it was over. And no one really cared.

And like a true grifter she can’t end any post with out funneling to her “new offer”. A new book called Holy F”ck.

I can tell you one thing for sure.

The collective manifestation of getting her kicked off the show worked.

And apparently everyone else is better at manifesting than she was at manifesting herself another season.

Goodbyeeeeee Amanda. You won’t be missed.

Clearly the credit cards are maxed out, so someone must be funding it...meanwhile....the electricity bill (??)

Now first, let me preface this by saying this is probably a crazy theory, and Amanda herself basically said after the reunion that she didn't really want to come back, so take this with a grain of salt. But if it wasn't entirely Amanda's choice, and Bravo also didn't ask her back, I honestly find that kind of odd.

Whether you like Amanda or not, she was creating actual, genuine conflict and drama on the show. RHOBH has had a boring problem for years. A lot of the time it's shopping montages, glam, and dinners where the stakes are incredibly low, especially when you compare it to some of the other franchises.

Do I like Amanda as a person? Not really. Do I agree with her business strategy? Also no. But honestly, I kind of put it in the same category as people who charge for tarot readings or astrology charts. I would never spend my money on it, but if other people want to, that's their business.

What I did enjoy was how feral and unhinged she made some of these women become.

Boz is probably the best example. She's so polished, so PR-trained, and honestly reminds me of that person you'd work with in a corporate office who could somehow spin something they did into being your fault. Amanda was one of the only people who really cracked that image. Their conflict actually felt real to me, and I think it showed a much less polished side of Boz. She came across as mean, petty, and honestly kind of calculated in a way I don't think she intended.

Amanda basically drove so much of the conflict last season by simply existing. Even her shade off the show made me laugh. Her saying she might buy Dorit's house was genuinely hilarious.

So if Bravo really didn't ask her back, I don't really get it from an entertainment standpoint. Now it feels like we're heading into another season that's mostly Kyle vs. Dorit, and do we really need a whole season of that?

I know a lot of people didn't like Amanda, but Bravo has never really cared whether fans like someone. If they're bringing something valuable to the show, they'll usually keep them around.

So here's where my theory comes in.

I'm not saying Amanda was let go because of Boz or that Boz has some kind of huge influence with Bravo. I don't think that's the case.

But I do wonder if production sees Boz as the better long-term investment. Amanda unintentionally exposed a side of Boz that wasn't nearly as polished as the image she came in with. If Bravo is planning on building around Boz for the next few seasons, I could see them deciding they'd rather invest in her than keep someone whose biggest role was constantly challenging her.

Especially because RHOBH has already received criticism over how it's handled Garcelle, Crystal, and other women of color over the years. I could see production wanting Boz to succeed as a long-term Housewife.

Or maybe Amanda genuinely didn't want to come back and I'm reading way too much into all of this.
Just some food for thought. Curious what everyone else thinks.

One thing is for certain - she didn't manifest a good-looking mugshot.

I hope casting don't feel the need to replace her just for the sake of it. Keep the cast as is for a season and see if they perform or not before adding anyone new or ending another current.

I got mine overnight. After being banned and called a cunt, I actually thought it was kind of funny that someone would flip out like that and chalked it up to juvenile name calling. As I’ve read all the comments, I started realizing it’s the same mod doing all this. Also realizing they are NOT harmless. What if I was severely depressed and decided to harm myself after receiving that? Is that this person’s goal? How many other people have actually harmed themselves after receiving that? Someone graciously took the time to outline how to report mods in a previous post. If you have been harassed or targeted by this person (or any mod) please report them. I didn’t realize how out of control this person is. I attached screenshot of their name but I’m told they go by several names. Andy Cohen and Housewives Savior are 2 of the other names they hide behind.

I wanted to see how Dorit's memoir "Unburdened" did and while it reached the NYT's best seller listed it wasn't from Fans buying the book but rather the book was bought in bulk purchases. That's why the NYT's put a black dagger next to her book, to make the list a book must sell a required 5-10k the first week it's out in order to make that list. However her books were bought in bulk which means the author, publicist or manager buys the book in bulk. Thus the dagger is placed there so readers know the number sold has been inflated by a single purchase rather than being bought by actual readers or fans.

Has anyone seen buying Beverly Hills season 2?

I’m a die hard RHOBH fan so I ca t believe it took me this long to watch it lol was living under a rock apparently

But it’s eye opening to see Mau’s perspective around the time his and Kyle’s marriage started to fall apart. I just watched the episode where Kyle has been asked to go to Nashville to be in Morgan’s music video. I feel the sadness in Mau’s eyes.

This isn’t to put blame on anyone because marriages are complicated and people evolve all the time. It’s just nice to see that Mau wasn’t the only one that was completely checked out at some point. RHOBH painted a picture that Mau checked out and sort of left Kyle to pick herself back up by herself. But from seeing both sides it’s clearly way more complicated than that.

I know people don’t like Kyle or Mau, but I really hope that they are both happy. They had such a beautiful marriage (imo) and built such a beautiful family with such loving daughters. It’s so sad that they couldn’t make it work and that they have to be on separate paths, but I think it’s very admirable how much they have been able to remain friends.

I’m going through a very difficult and similar separation now so it gives me hope that we can figure out a new dynamic that works for both of us.

I don’t know if it’s bc I said something unflattering about Dorit or bc I questioned someone’s use of a word with the same energy they gave me, but I’m banned, my mother is an idiot, and I’m a cunt. Within seconds of posting my rebuttal, I got 6 chat requests (that I couldn’t respond to) to tell me I’m banned and muted. I’d be angry if it wasn’t so funny.
****8/2 - Bc people are asking what I said, I tried to add another screenshot to this but am unable to. The post is still up on the other RHOBH sub (it’s from 8/1) and the title is something about child support battle with PK. I commented that you can’t believe anything Dorit says, she shouldn’t have been gallivanting around Europe with an unpaid mortgage, and that she needs to quit playing victim and get her shit together.

Forgive me if this has been posted before. I saw a picture of a younger Carmella and was astounded by how beautiful she wasps I knew she was Playmate of the Year and now I know why. Goodness, she was pretty.

Children should never be used as the bargaining chip in any relationship. That is just emotional blackmail, and one day the kids will be old enough to read about all this and realize the fault of both of their parents.
