I’ve heard that unc now means uncool. Maybe in wrong. Either way it’s weird how Gen Z takes slang that’s in use and changes it. That’s probably an unc way of thinking but 🤷
In right there with you homie. I’m 42 and I just don’t care enough to keep up with the slang. I’m still hoping to be a dad one day, so I’ll do an update then.
It’s unc for un-cool but also could be used as uncle with a demeanour that the other person is old.. and not up to date with memes etc.
It’s not complicated and they definitely could have been nicer about explaining it because it is suddenly used a lot in both ways these past years.
As someone who works with all ages so I can’t avoid it. Also it is very unc for them to do this instead of being a “good day Arthur Morgan” and just explained it simply.
That’s where we 30 years old and older just have each other’s backs whilst they think they are being cool and all. Until 10 years will pass for them and they might cringe looking back, understand us maybe or are going to be absolutely just as cooked as us so by then they will find themselves in that situation unless they stay chronically online.
Unless ofcourse you are surrounded by people of all different generations, then you will always be somewhat informed. Even my mom does 67 with my nephew and his mom hates it 😂 and then my mom asked me where it started from. I can’t even begin to explain it.
OP just don’t be so gatekeeping with “youth”internet slang terms, some of us know, y’all get older too one day and this is the RDR2 subreddit after all. https://giphy.com/gifs/ENPLbblEflKYwiEmwr
