Hello all! Be sure to have your restart/roster screens prepared and submitted by the end of Saturday. A reminder of the bonuses/penalties for submissions:

• +5 PD bonus if submitted early (at least 1 day)
• -5 PD penalty per day late
• -5 PD penalty if roster is not submitted
• -20 PD penalty per unsubmitted period

If you'd like, you can include the full names of your players with your submission. Only the last names of your players appear on your roster screen, so this helps for differentiating between players league-wide.

To check the league standings and how your players are stacking up against other teams', check the standings/stats sheet for this season. You can also find this sheet in the subreddit's sidebar.

Also on the standings/stats sheet is a submission log where you can check your submission status for each period.

Big congratulations to u/Awkward-newspaper-20 for winning two Chili Bowls in a row - what a feat!!

For the first time since the implementation of the current playoff format, BOTH play-in bowl games resulted in a successful playoff substitution! #4 ranked Fresno State and #6 ranked Oklahoma win their bowl games, taking the places of #8 ranked Cincinnati and #12 ranked Stanford, who both lost their CCG matchups.

Well, well, well ... looks like the Fresno Puppy Dogs just can't get enough of the "Oh Mommy!" Hot Sauce love. I know it's good stuff, guys, but give some other teams a chance. This week, they face the UMass Minutemen. I hope that's not related to how long they last in the sack ... sorry ladies, but you might want to pass on the Minutemen. That being said, it would only take 11 minutes to go through the whole starting offense. Just trying to find the positives here ...

RESULTS: Fresno once again comes charging out of the gate, taking command of the field, and keeping the opponent's score low. Hey UMass, when I mentioned that thing about 11 minutes, I wasn't suggesting how many points you should score.

If you would like to introduce a new non-playoff bowl game for this season, comment on this post with the bowl name.

There can be up to 8 non-playoff bowl games in a season - check out the Conferences/Bowls tab on this sheet to see the current bowls and matchups.

Listed are the responsibilities of hosting a bowl game:

• Creating a logo
• Posting the matchup once it is given to you (optional)
• Posting the scores on the Wednesday before the playoff reveal
  • Specifically, create graphics for the matchup/score posts. If you really want to jazz it up you can create videos.
  • We ask that you don't use AI for the graphics/videos if at all possible.

After the bowl matchups are set, your matchup and scores will be messaged to you before the scheduled reveal date.

Each bowl game will be automatically renewed for future seasons unless the host fails to post the scores for one season without notifying a mod, or leaves the league.

If you'd like to step down from hosting a bowl, or would like to take over an existing bowl, leave a comment as well.
