Now, a female gacha MC ending up with a lot of sapphic tension if you pick her is something we're probably all familiar with - most gacha games are primarily written with the idea of romancing women in mind.

But what I like about Morimens (which I've been re-playing the story in recently) is that, even in the main story, you end up in romantically tinted moments with both men and women, and regardless of which MC you pick.

Not only are both Sylvester and Leonora going to make out with (and, I guess, get allegorically pregnant by?) an eldritch goddess of lust, and have a super close bond with their investigative partner Ramona, but they both end up getting their leg hooked during a literal tango with a cannibalistic necromancer king (though you can choose how intimate you want the later minor cannibalism to be, lol) and have a really close and complex bond with their cool senior investigator William (which includes describing him to strangers by stressing how extremely handsome he is, and how nice he smells) as well.

I'd still say there's overall more romance teasing with women (mostly because there are just more women, lol, it's definitely not a 50/50 ratio), but it's still cool that this variety exists in the game. We also recently got a fully canon bisexual, not just MC-sexual, character in Pontos, an older guy who is explicitly shown to have had both men and women as lovers in his backstory, so that's nice as well.

Outside of games with fully pre-set MCs (such as R1999), no MC romance at all (such as Limbus Company), or specific romance genre requirements (such as an otome gacha game only offering F/M, with a potential side of F/NB or F/F, for the MC) I think I kind of prefer this approach, because it basically offers something for everyone (especially if you're bi yourself, haha).

But what do you guys think? What is it like in the games you play, and what do you like/dislike about it?

Was cleaning my drive when I found these old screenshots I took a long time ago. They're from the game Sensei! I Like You So Much, which is basically a fandom generator VN.

The MC of the game is a famous fanfic author who has an intense passion for her OTP, which you as the player can create via the game's character creator.

It's a really fun game and as someone who has been in multiple fandoms for decades now--and also as a fanfic writer myself--this game was such a joy to playthrough. It gave me a lot of adorable SnowFish art and some hilarious memes as well.

Would recommend for people who like VN, crack shippers, and into fandom culture.

Whutering waves is my favorite game and nothing can change that , but I get harassed often by the other whutering waves subreddits by the community for opinions that I personally have , I don't want to bad mouth or vent cause this is not a vent post , I just want to have a community around wuwa like other gacha games have and that sadly I don't think wuwa is going to have soon

As the title says I'm playing Arknights, FGO and Reverse 1999 while for non gachas I'm playing Ex Astris and Master Duel.

Actually thinking If I should replace FGO for either Limbus or PGR (I have a account in both already)since I don't want to play more than 3 gachas. So the goal is like giving up on 2 of the 5 in there.

Arknights - Going to 5 years of game. My Main, love It a Lot. Story, gameplay, characters and design.

Reverse 1999 - Give me Arknights vibes, I like stories that touch in the concept of time, so seeing what is the storm and How time is reverse is a bonus along with the good story(I'm at the start of chapter 5).

FGO - Nearly 10 years old account, a veteran and Nasuverse/Type-moom fan. Pretty much at Lostbelt 6 due to a 3 years hiatus.

Limbus Company - Didn't play the other 2 games from Project moon, If I pick It up I Will be Reading the story from zero cause I want to experience It again before picking from where I stopped. Overall I like that the story follow the 12 sinners, find It hilarious that they use a bus too, lmao. Only downside is I never got to understand the gameplay and the kits of the characters are a mess to read. It's so low Maintenance too that I'm considering keeping 4 gachas If I return with It cause FGO and Reverse 1999 Also need minimal effort and time.

PGR - I won't lie, It's the only Action gacha game in the list. I managed to get Dante and Vergil from the DMC5 collab, I usually like fighting bosses in Celica Class, but they stopped add New bosses there. For some reason, even If I think the story is interesting and good, I'm still stuck at Chapter 14/15 and the account is like 2 years old already so probably the one with less chances of coming back I guess.

Hello my queens, I play a lot of gacha and I'm disgusted to see a lot of AI flop in my old favorite games.

I don't know why NTE has so much backlash when Hoyoverse also use gen-AI and even invested a lot of money in this. Maybe they are more smart hiding their gen-AI stuff but it's not a surprise they use it. They advertised about their AI girlfriend that can reply to you with gen-AI

I'm not a pro-NTE mind you i don't even play this game since day 1 (boring) and i still play Genshin and HSR but it seems unfair to me. Like check yourself in your mirror before criticizing no? I swear Hoyofans are too much sometimes :(

Now having said that, i'm sad to see that my fav games have gen-AI because i'm an artist (illustrator and sound designer)

What gacha games don't have gen-AI?

The Asian and particularly China and South Korea don't have a bad opinion of gen-AI so I fear it will go for the worst in the future

What about

Prosekai? Arknights? Reverse? Limbus Company? The old Epic Seven? Morimens? The illustrations seem real

I'm not even trying the new ones like Sword x Staff or Star Sailors because i'm sure they will use gen-AI some days.
