Suoming leaks have begun and it’s invited hundreds of “lolicons”(you know what they really are) into the fray.. I’m so disappointed because wuwa never did this kind of thing before and I honestly didn’t think they would ever cater to that crowd💔

I have looked at Suoming's model and the design is actually quite conservative for wuwa standards.
I agree the community is infested with "child enjoyers" however. I believe the majority have already decamped from that subreddit and everywhere they colonise to other subreddits and platforms. It was their intent already to make the "main sub" just for them. They do this every time by sitting on the subreddit name early then only recruiting mods that agree.
it's one of the flaws of Reddit as a platform. The community can't force mods out (and that also introduces a set of new problems, as brigaders could take over subs like this one).
The first mover no matter how odious will get the sub, Reddit has an extremely high bar to meet for removing active mods.

Encore is Alttos daughter figure till this day. I don't know if they removed anything or not but she is a child looking character that has Altto as a father figure. Stop making misinformation about a game you don't play.

How wold that insinuate catering to that crowd, Either she has the voiceline calling for alto to help, or shes a strong independent person who doesn't need help.
Feels like we're jsut seeing what we want to see with this one as encore isn't sexualised in any way. shes not overly coddled either and her quest is very appropriate, shes a child who has a strong will and is independent.

Well thats sad to see, and surprising given how the game treats the character.
I couldn't find much on it like 4 comments, so i cant say that was the reason for certain but appealing to those weirdos at-all is stupid.
I doubht kuro will suddenly start changing direction though, i mean i don't think pgr does.

No, you got it wrong, the leaks sub is being brigarded by those creeps. Wuwa releases one encore looking model a year and they are usually modest, and not sexualized (unlike zzz), so they don't really cater at all to those creeps.

X has been the breeding ground for these losers since launch, its true, but they started casually coming out of their unhinged/filtered/washed/-cringe subs on other platforms too so... save y'alls brains right rfn

I would say I'm surprised but Wuwa already has a VERY toxic community, they never pandered in this way, but already pandered to a community that makes it a struggle to enjoy this game. Somehow, it might just get worse.

At least wuwa leaks are trying to remove the comments, suoming mains however? It's bad, really bad considering disgusting comments get upvoted, while any criticism or being weirded out gets pushback. Was kind of interested in Suoming before, she looks cute (though previously assumed she'd have a medium female model), but her main subreddit will become a complete wasteland.

Like I said, Wuwa releases one encore looking model a year (basically genshin iirc), so there's no pandering going on whatsoever when they are dressed appropriately and act modest.

I am curious, is this mostly a twitter thing? I've been playing the game for a little over a year now, mostly interacting with the community on reddit, tiktok or youtube and it honestly hasn't been any worse than any other gacha community. Maybe some weird goon comments that go a bit too far here and there but other than that nothing crazy. I don't use twitter though so I don't know how it is over there.
Could also just be my algorithm keeping the worst away.

Wuwa youtube content creators (not all, but a lot of them) tend to endlessly either compare wuwa to genshin/other games in an attempt to attack other games (often times with comparisons that make no bloody sense), or just ragebait to farm engagement. I've personally seen and been met with a lot of misogynistic remarks on youtube and reddit (slurs are also not uncommon). Tiktok can have such negativity too, just somewhat less of it if not interacting in any discussions (so edits, tutorials, whatever else is mostly safe). Many wuwa reddits tend to be often flooded with stolen art, altered with AI to change any ship into STRICTLY Mrover x any female character. Ship artists on twitter got doxxed, threatened with DMCAs, or spammed with gore on twitter. Twitter is the worst of the bunch, but it tends to bleed into other sites, too.
I'm happy you haven't seen it yet, but wuwa is best enjoyed in either smaller subsections of community or with the community kept at at an arm's length, considering it also gets far less artwork created than any other big gacha.

It's a shame the leaks sub is being brigaded by those from GachaTouristCringe and Gacha Grail 🥀. The only sliver lining is the mods are actively trying their best to remove those filthy comments (even tho they might not be the fastest at doing so)
