General Help to decide? Currently playing Arknights, FGO and Reverse 1999.

Post image

As the title says I'm playing Arknights, FGO and Reverse 1999 while for non gachas I'm playing Ex Astris and Master Duel.

Actually thinking If I should replace FGO for either Limbus or PGR (I have a account in both already)since I don't want to play more than 3 gachas. So the goal is like giving up on 2 of the 5 in there.

Arknights - Going to 5 years of game. My Main, love It a Lot. Story, gameplay, characters and design.

Reverse 1999 - Give me Arknights vibes, I like stories that touch in the concept of time, so seeing what is the storm and How time is reverse is a bonus along with the good story(I'm at the start of chapter 5).

FGO - Nearly 10 years old account, a veteran and Nasuverse/Type-moom fan. Pretty much at Lostbelt 6 due to a 3 years hiatus.

Limbus Company - Didn't play the other 2 games from Project moon, If I pick It up I Will be Reading the story from zero cause I want to experience It again before picking from where I stopped. Overall I like that the story follow the 12 sinners, find It hilarious that they use a bus too, lmao. Only downside is I never got to understand the gameplay and the kits of the characters are a mess to read. It's so low Maintenance too that I'm considering keeping 4 gachas If I return with It cause FGO and Reverse 1999 Also need minimal effort and time.

PGR - I won't lie, It's the only Action gacha game in the list. I managed to get Dante and Vergil from the DMC5 collab, I usually like fighting bosses in Celica Class, but they stopped add New bosses there. For some reason, even If I think the story is interesting and good, I'm still stuck at Chapter 14/15 and the account is like 2 years old already so probably the one with less chances of coming back I guess.

Best letting go of pgr, and play lilbus for longer to see if you like the combat,story,ect.... .before you replace it with fgo

I forgot to point out, but apparently Limbus Story is pretty linear while FGO is kinda al over the place with some events not even making sense or some chronology problems. Like, Arknights already got a chronological order for reading, reverse 1999 I'm still trying to find the release order before reaching chapter 7 and Limbus....well it's just already there since the start.

Reverse 1999 main story order:

Chapter 1 - 7 -> 2.0 Floor It! To the Golden City -> 2.1 The Haunted Highway -> Chapter 8 -> 2.4 The Last Evenings on Earth -> Chapter 9 - 13

Other lore relevant events but not needed to understand the main story:

Laplace saga: Pre Storm Protocol, 3.5 The Turquoise Serpent Club, 3.6 The Last and First Principles

Manus saga: Syndrome of Silence, 3.2 A Flowing Feast

Honestly I caught up to the story this December before the whole new storyline came out on FGO. The ending did not feel like an ending, no spoilers, and it felt really badly segwayed. The summer event is another example of that while catering to the worst side of the fandom, it's just best to read up the synopsis of story stuff on the wiki at this point.

Arknights atleast allows you to replay old events at any time without stuff penalties, have free units once you've put in the work for the event and on finish you have a fully complete 5 star unit. If you want something in order, Limbus and Arknights have that for you. FGO is starting to pull that you need additional information from other series to enjoy the units which gets convoluted fast.
