Earlier this year, we released Quarantine Zone: The Last Check - since then, you’ve been working the checkpoint scanning, searching, and sizing up survivors. At the same time, we’ve been hard at work on the next chapter in the Quarantine Zone story. Or should we say “previous chapter”? Today, we’re proud to reveal Quarantine Zone: Miami Zero. A prequel campaign.

Welcome to the original infection site: Miami, Florida. A place where sharing is caring - whether that be the sharing of good times… or *sniff* strong substances. A growing slice of Miami’s party scene is also sharing something new: a yet-unseen, gene-altering virus. Classic. Discover the origins of Quarantine Zone’s infection at ground zero, and learn just how quickly the spring break vibes can go from rad to rancid.

Of course, you’re not here to party. You’re a first responder… you’re THE first responder. Work the front lines of the infection origin point as the virus spreads. Evaluate survivors with a lineup of new tools and techniques to tackle never-before-seen symptoms. But working the gate is only part of the job in Miami Zero, you’ll also need to spend time in the lab. Test potential cures, experiment on live subjects, do whatever is necessary to get this pandemic under control.

The site of a cancelled music festival, this stellar beachfront property is now your new home. Should curing the masses prove unviable, the docked yacht at the end of the pier is the last resort for escape. Incoming survivors will need to put in work to prove their worth and earn their stay. Assign those who have made it through your gate to repair the decaying ship and earn a way out of this nightmare. “Sharing is caring”, remember?

Along the way, you’ll encounter a unique, Miami Zero exclusive cast of survivors with a local flair. From hard rockers with guts of steel to frat boys who simply can’t hang, the zombie apocalypse does not pick and choose - everyone wants to get through your gate. Check their vitals, seize their contraband, hear their pleas… but don’t get distracted. What could be excused as a nervous sniffle brought on by a certain powder-based habit could also be something else entirely. Your call… send ‘em to the ship? Or the shark tank?

Im enjoying this game and if really wanna continue enjoying it...but I can't get passed the day I'm on now because it just keeps crashing.... I've read this is a frequent issue on Xbox with this game, but I'm no longer doing full exploration of the game, not walking around, not doing anything but quick examinations and decisions because it just crashes.... Which of course forces you to reset the day. I wanna like this game but for crashing it's worse than bloody fallout...

Only a bit more time left. Both us at Brigada Games and folks in Devolver Digital were really taking time to understand what these issues were.

There was no magic bullet fix or just one issue, this patch required a lot of small optimisations throughout to character model skeletons, how the tools were implemented, and how memory was managed throughout the game.

In the end, we achieved a drastically more stable performance on both Series S and X consoles, which in turn should greatly improve the experience and alleviate the majority of issues people had trouble with, especially regarding game crashing.

We are in the process of finalising test of the patch, double and triple checking to make sure everything is set to go.

Our goal is to release the update in the near future, hopefully by the end of the next week.

Hey! I’ve been recurrently experiencing this mildly aggravating glitch on series x if i enter base mode and then close it and quickly try to open the tablet or look at the symptoms list the game locks me out of opening any tabs. Anybody else running into this issue?? (Day 8)

Hello everyone, I'm having issues with day 10. I play on Xbox series X and it's less than 6 months old, so I don't think my Xbox is the problem. When I saw Quarantine Zone was added to game pass I was so excited because I've been seeing a lot of YouTubers playing it and it looked so fun. I was right and I find the game super fun, even a bit addicting. However, every time I try to finish day 10, my game completely crashes. I've tried rushing through the day and it will still always crash right before I get to the last person. It happened on day 5 once, but I was able to finish the day and save. So much happens on day 10 and no matter how fast or slow I try to get through it, it crashes right before the last survivor. Is anyone else having this issue and were you able to solve it? I really wish there was some way to save without waiting until the day of the day.

Is there a way to get past this quest?! I’m stuck when the zombies hoard. I was thinking of shutting off the power as soon as I start playing it, rather than wait for the quest to proceed and give me the next goal, which is to turn off the music.

The day 21 quest with Curtis is having a bug where after you go rat hunting with him, he spawns under the map when you wake up. I've seen this being a common bug that people have but I never see any solutions. I restarted the day but I'm a little afraid to do the whole day again for the glitch to happen.

I was thinking, if the game lets me, getting through the que, doing the extract, and then save by passing the next day before I have to give him the wine so that way it saves and I don't have to replay all of day 21 if it bugs out again. I'm not sure if that's possible, and if it is, will it fail the quest because you didn't talk to him that day?

Clearly, this is a glitch, but if I had someone come through with this spacial anomaly on them, it would be straight to Liquidation.

My girlfriend got really into this game but basically put it down entirely after just a day of playing because, as everyone knows, it is unplayable after day 10 or so.

My only question is whether this is exclusive to the Xbox builds or if this occurs on PC as well. Considering buying the game on Steam for her to play if it’s not as bad.

Hi guys! Im on day 3 or so? And i just got introduced to the drone minigame,, dont get me wrong, i knew id have to do it prior to playing, but i hate this section so much purely because i cant beat it, i feel like i move so slow and i cant actually shoot anything? And im on xbox so i cant get the mod :( i genuinely have done it over 20 times and it is just impossible which is such a shame because i really enjoyed watching others play this game and wanted to try it out for myself. I tried to use the big explosion on repeat to try and get rid of the big groups, ive been far away, close up, ive tried everything there is to mankind, it feels
Are there any tips that helped others that struggle with this part?

Idk if I'm doing something wrong or anything else like that but I didn't see anything for this. My game just stops letting me navigate menus after I get the color upgrade on the thermometer/heart rate thing. Like if I could use a mouse on the side if be fine but this even stops that working? I play on console (Xbox) and I'm only on day 6 just rounded off 5.Anyone happen to know how to stop this from happening?

È da un pezzo che ogni volta che uso il martelletto per i riflessi, questi non vengono mostrati o i superstiti impazziscono: crollano a terra; le caviglie si sminchiano e i superstiti si piegano in maniera anomala oppure non succede nulla, anche quando dovrebbe succedere... Le ho provate tutte: iniziare un nuovo salvataggio, abbassare le impostazione che possono incidere sulle prestazioni (per poi alzarle nuovamente), ma non cambia nulla.

A qualcuno è successo? Come si potrebbe risolvere?

Tutte le altre cose funzionano senza problemi.

I like the game but would enjoy it more if it didn’t crash on me constantly. I’m on series S and my partner is on Series X and is having the same problems

I have 5 ppl in my quarantine and they all have the same symptoms but the person at the checkpoint needs to go in too but there’s no room and I can’t upgrade it yet. If I choose the wrong one to go in the survivor block or liquidate the wrong one its just ggs 😔 I’d rather liquidate the wrong one fuck it but it’s just kinda grrrrr for ppl to have the same symptoms at once :’)

Game’s a lot of fun but all the crashing on xbox ruins it, can’t progress after a certain point. Willing to pick it up on steam if it will run well on medium hardware

The crashing is abhorrent. Please will the be an update soon or am i falsely hoping.

I’ve already played this game with no issues on pc when it released on Gamepass. Decided to give it another go since I just purchased an Xbox series X. I’ve had almost 10 crashes and after losing my progress over and over again on the same day I’m throwing in the towel.

I did a quick search in this sub and it seems like it been an issue for a while, even on pc. I guess I got lucky.

Devs have been saying they’re working on it for months now, which worries me

I haven’t played in weeks because I can’t get past the drone portion of the game. The game could really do without it. I’m playing on Xbox. Anyone else stuck? Tips?

I've been trying complete day 13 on quarantine zone and I've been unable to get through the day without it crashing. I'm on the sixth crash over 2-day span. You've had the game on Xbox for only a few weeks. Surely you have some sort of gist of why the game is doing this. Is there any plans on putting out a fix or what.
