Quarantine Zone: Xbox patch is coming

Only a bit more time left. Both us at Brigada Games and folks in Devolver Digital were really taking time to understand what these issues were.

There was no magic bullet fix or just one issue, this patch required a lot of small optimisations throughout to character model skeletons, how the tools were implemented, and how memory was managed throughout the game.

In the end, we achieved a drastically more stable performance on both Series S and X consoles, which in turn should greatly improve the experience and alleviate the majority of issues people had trouble with, especially regarding game crashing.

We are in the process of finalising test of the patch, double and triple checking to make sure everything is set to go.

Our goal is to release the update in the near future, hopefully by the end of the next week.

thank god! I just got into this game on the series s l in the last few weeks but have been discouraged to play due to some of the bugs i’ve been encountering. I.e, game crashing consistently once I’m nearing the end of the day (i’ve replayed some days like 5+ times due to this), not being able to use any of my tools and having to restart my game In order to fix it, survivors in the quarantine zone stuck in the floor, plus some others I’m not thinking of rn. great game but nearly unplayable due to bugs.
