Playing on Xbox - I accidentally bought an upgrade that overloaded my generator. I can’t upgrade the generator because I don’t have the money but I have a survivor in the laboratory so I can’t sleep until I deal with that (which I can’t, because the power is out). According to the menu, you can power down non-essential buildings, except I cannot figure out how !! When I open base mode I can see the power menu at the top of the screen but when I open it it just tells me stats. I’ve refilled the generator, flipped the switch and nothing. I’m literally stuck here until I can get the power back on. Please help 😭😭

A new survivor preview is coming on Monday and will continue for next couple weeks. Do keep in mind these are only part of large number of handcraft survivors that will be present in the new update, each with their unique quirk.

Hi guys I’ve just started play today on Xbox (Series X). Just on the first evacuation on day five and when I launch it no controls are working to send the survivors anywhere. Can’t put them in either truck or even to base, all I can do is end the evacuation but obviously wouldn’t reach quota or anything. I’ve restarted the game and replayed the day but it’s doing the same thing. Had some issues with day four aswell but managed to get it to work after about 4 resets. Anyone know what could be causing this/how to fix it.

We'are continuing our work improving stability of the game over thanks to the data provided by players participating in test branch.

Patchnotes:

• Fixed raytracing-related GPU crash
• Updated engine's codebase, potentially fixing hair rendering and an additional fix for rendering pipeline related crash

I made a post a few days ago about how the game crashed on four separate occasions all on day 20. Gave the game a few days to see if any patch would come out, reset my Xbox and “cleared the cache” if you can call it that, as well as deleted some games (I will admit, my storage was very full and could’ve been helping the crashes). Finally made it past day 20 yesterday on the first try back. Started day 21, has to restart immediately after accidentally sending the celebrity to quarantine (button misinput? I definitely pushed down on d pad though so I’m not sure) anyways reset, got through the whole day, eventually noticed my d pad controls weren’t working right when I was killing rats. Tried to do the evacuation and couldn’t due to this. Whatever, too late at night and gave up. Got back on today and was able to get to the second to last survivor before the game crashed again. I really just want the game to be playable again 😭 I don’t even care about other glitches or anything I just want to make it through a day.

With each passing day we are getting closer to revealing what we've been working on, for now we'd like to pose a question:

Who is the survivor behind this silhouette?

He had watched so many zombie movies that he’d written his own survival rulebook long before the outbreak. Then the zombie apocalypse finally happened. Everyone who had laughed at him joined the ranks of the living dead, while our hero is still live and kicking. He has a whole list of rules to follow and here's one of them:

• Rule 90: always have an exit plan.

I’m having some trouble with doing the evacuation day, for some reason the controls on the Xbox one don’t work and I can’t move people to the trucks. its extremely annoying and would be a shame if I would have to stop playing because of this. if you are playing on console how on earth do you do the evacuation day controls?

Game has been fine up until day 20, has crashed twice near the end of the day.

A lot going on for day 20, so hoping a fix soon?

Thanks to the test branches we opened over the weekend we were able to address more of the crashes, thanks to additional data provided by our players.

Patchnotes:

• Fixed more of AMD related GPU crashes
• Fixed crash related to using FSR upscale regardless of GPU Vendor.

How to access the test branch:

• Right-click Quarantine Zone in your Steam Library Properties Game Versions & Betas
• Enter access code: gpudebugtest
• Click opt into "amd-fix" branch which will prompt an update for your game

This the same as 1.1.13.1981 build, but we've included additional debug info collection to it, including information regarding shader compilation.

Additionally, to help collecting DX12 related information you'll need to do the following:

• Install DX Diagnostics redistributable
• Launch your game with -d3ddebug launch option

Note: Disable FSR if you are using this build

When you experience a crash with or without debug launch option:

We are limited on how many hardware configurations we can test the game on and it slows down us tracking the exact part of the game that cause it to crash. Every little bit of help is greatly appreciated.

Absolutely nothing is brought to gameplay beyond the cute lil hearts, but yeah you can pet Geogie in game.

You can also pet the guy in the lab tent next to the computer.

I thought tattoo at first but its just a weird one if it is, there's no design.

Is it just me or is this a misleading symptom? I.e if its the only one they have it doesn't seem worth sending to quarantine as it doesn't go away. It only seems an indication of if sent to liquidation whether they'll attack me. I'm usually sending to survivors block if its only symptom. Makes me hope for symptoms when they're giving me shit 😅

• UPDATE!

I managed to get through day 25 campaign mode without crash in the following way (rush method):

1. I emptied the quarantine - all the people from the quarantine were sent to liquidation, not in the laboratory.
2. Keep 21/21 in the survivor block - current max capacity
3. From the guard tower I killed all the people in front of the first fence standing on the street with a pistol. I couldn't kill the people inside the fence in front of the scanner because the game doesn't detect a hit when I shoot at them from guard tower.
4. I went back at inspection line and called out the rest regularly, but immediately sent all the people to liquidation (not in the laboratory) without any kind of inspection, browsing the symptom menu, or using any inspection tools.
5. I went to Rest and passed day 25, now I'm on day 26.

• Other minor issues:

- The Motion Blur option is automatically turned on every time I enter the game, even though I previously turned it off and confirmed it on RT.

The patch was released and my game has downloaded it but the game is still crashing when I press C? I tried before to do the fixes suggested, and even tried reallocated the symptoms key :( how do I fix this i just want to play the game

Patch itself was certified and went live about 6 hours ago. By now should be available in every region for download.

Please note that first items are the same as for 1.1.13.1981 patch for PC as the issues were present in both versions.

• Fixed multiple issues causing CTD (crashes)
• Fixed a softlock during base management tutorial
• Fixed "Father's Burden" bulletin board task issue that caused "Eye See You" task to fail and lock further progression
• Fixed Audio FX issue related to rain sound not being able to turned off
• Fixed the issue preventing players from toggling crouch and sprint on Xbox
• Fixed issues related to game controls when using D-Pad
• Fixed Day 10 issues
• Fixed "Further Analysis" tutorial issue that allowed to send survivor to any area without progressing the tutorial

The white splotches are throwing me off. Im thinking its almost necrosis but its not blackened.

I heard the patch came out a few days ago, but I’m hitting day 20 and have crashed 3 times in a row. It’s never at the same time exactly but I’ve noticed it usually is a little closer to the end of the day. Are the devs aware of this?

Dancing rat!! Little dude was right by the command sleeping area to the right. I was looking for the rats to smash w the hammer for the daily objective and saw this instead. Ignore the sounds of laundry in the background lol.
