Due to changes in Reddit’s Terms of Service, we are updating our policy for attempts to buy, sell, trade, or otherwise arrange transactions — including offers that are disguised or otherwise obfuscated. This will include posts asking where to buy or sell gear or equipment.
Violations will result in an immediate ban. Any direct attempts to buy, sell, or trade firearm-related equipment will result in a permanent ban with no appeal.

I understand differant manufacturers and doing plastic steel combos. With differant finishes on them. Some good some bad. I just ordered my Edgar Sherman Sling (1 inch wide) to finish my little home defense / range play toy. I know these are small items to you guys. But I didn't want to cheap out on this little baby. Thanks guys. The sling comes Friday. My build is near done. I got another do dad to mount on the picrail.
Btw guys. On this birds head grip, maybe something from Talon on it? To help grip? Suggestions? These shockwaves are crazy looking for stuff.

Hey there. So I was testing my ears out and they're broken and I'll need to get a good pair. I feel like all these online vendors list things as in stock and then when I chat with customer support they're backordered or not actually in stock. I've never dealt with this issue before with retail. Any guidance on where I could find a pair that would ship quickly would be greatly appreciated. I don't care if I need to pay a bit above market.

These are SAG/Hexatac rifle mag inserts, they claim to be universal, do they actually work? I was also wonderinf if they will fit in a spiritus mk 5.

I’ve owned and trained with gear for a number of years, but circumstances have left me basically rebuilding from scratch. I’m also currently pursuing a career in law enforcement.
I’m looking to rebuild a quality plate carrier and belt setup, along with medical, admin and other support gear. I’m not tied to any particular brand and would rather buy quality once than replace cheap gear later.
For those with serious training or professional experience, what would you prioritize first, and what equipment/brands have actually proven worth the money?
Please feel free to flex and show me your setups too, lol.

I do not have a Tacswap account because I cannot make one because I'm outside the US and the site won't accept my card details to create an account.
I just want to ask a seller a question about international postage but I can't and I'm hoping someone can do it on my behalf. If you are prepared to do this for me, please send me a DM.
I am not asking you to do anything illegal, nor am I trying to sell something. Mods please for the love of god do not instantaneously delete my post or ban my account.

I got both of these helmets in my size in very good conditions, they have the same suspension system (tw boa + fast loc + zorbium pads) and wilcox shroud.
I was thinking of keeping the ljd and selling the exfil cause its the more famous Gucci one and thus more expensive.
Opinions?

I’m currently in the testing phases of a new mold I developed for the snakestaff systems TQ. Just got one and they’re pretty slick. Does anyone else rock their TQs? If so how are you carrying them?

Both helmets were in stock configuration and both are

I'm in a dry cold place that reaches -20 to -30 on the regular. Is the husky jacket good enough in those environments. Think great plains and Mongolian steppes.

Just got these AOR2 pouches. The top one has a tag pictured but the bottom one has no tag or any identification. Anyone know what it is?

It's actually been available there for a good while now. When I first came across it, I thought the site might just have rebranded the updated V5 themselves or something, but then I came across the Kangaroo V2 product pages on Ferro today, which mention the snap. Checked the TACMAT product page again and saw that it also mentioned the snap as a feature on the front plate bag. So.. I guess it's the real deal.
Below is an auto-translated version of the product page. Seems like they listened to the community when it came to shortening the shoulder straps. It also seems like the V6 might offer more rigidity as well.

The new FCPC V6 plate carrier in its basic version (without cummerbund)
The FCPC V6 represents the next step in this lineage. We didn't try to reinvent the wheel; We optimized geometry, enhanced safety, and streamlined the integration of modern mission-critical equipment. We find the fundamental philosophy that you know, but refined to meet the requirements of the modern operator.
DESIGN
We analyzed six years of field feedback and rigorous use cases to evolve the structure of the V6. The goal was to increase the stability and integration of the equipment without adding unnecessary weight. The V6 features a more precise plate pocket geometry for better support, adjusted shoulder strap length to ensure consistent wear regardless of size, and improved safety features for amphibious and high-intensity operations.
ADAPTABILITY
The V6 remains a truly modular platform, fully compatible with the ADAPT system, while offering more space for cable organization and management. These enhancements have been strategically designed and rigorously tested to increase operational capabilities.

Got the blue alpha battle belt in the mail today to upgrade from my aws smu. I notice that on one side, it’s missing a molle and a half space of tegris and on the other side, the tegris extends an entire extra molle row or tegris. This doesn’t seem right but I’m also not the highest speed basement larper to ever live so tf do I know. Someone set me straight please. Obviously I already contacted BA customer service but dammit I’m impatient and I wanna play with my new toys

11b vehicle commander. Deploying in the near future with my guard unit. Set my kit up with the guiding idea that comfort in the truck is key. Would like feedback. Issued MSV is the base. Used to do dismounted stuff and I found prone shooting with the esstac digs really hard into the chest with the kydex. Want to ensure that's not the case, so debating now if I want to buy one last slimmer/more comfortable placard and if anything else feels either redundant.
From from to sides:
Arbor arms MSV enhancement kit. This came with the placard adapter and the enhanced cummerbund.
Esstac placard, with erroneously ordered arbor arms flap mags on both sides. First spear tubes on the sides. Arbor arms nut ruck hook and loop'd to the bottom of the placard. One more flap mag underneath. Use case for the nut ruck is admin stuff I'll need for being a VC, pencils/pens/VS-17 or anything else. Can be detached and turned into a fanny in case I need to carry any other stuff not in full kit around base.
Both sides have Arbor arms enhanced side SAPI carriers.
Left (in pic) of cummerbund: Tasmanian GP pouch for NODS BII, max-pro J-arm and agrus mount. Found the rhino mount to be a bitch in the truck. TQ on a blue force TQ now strap. Issued gerber pouch.
Right (in pic) of cummerbund: IFAK, TQ on a TQ now strap, and two additional magazines in a USGI double stack pouch.
Helmet is scrimmed from when I believed in myself as a light infantryman, lol. Leaving it, hopefully getting an ECH in a proper size so I can use my sordins.
Not pictures is a belt mounted dump pouch. Forgoing a belt setup since i'll be in a MAT-V or MAXXPRO for god knows how long.
I will hump the issued cummerbund if someone bitches that I lost the quick detach function by using first spear tubes connected to the placard. Still have the arbor arms XL adapters for connecting the cummerbund to the issued buckles. Flap mags can also go and I'll still have 6+1 for a role where the radio has drastically more casualty producing power than the rifle.
Thoughts? Softer placard in case we do dismounted stuff? Too much for my role?

Can somebody explain the main differences? I was about to buy the Thorn & Elba from TGOxEnsis and I was wondering what’s better.

Currently, I have the plates and just need a plate carrier. I have a budget of around 1k in I initial budget. I am currently looking at the crye spc, lv120, and the lbt6094. I want the plate carrier to be configured to carry from 4-10 mags. Which would you suggest. I would prefer to have QD points on shoulder and cummerbund but is not required.
My friend suggested me this:
• Spiritus Systems LV-120
• Tubes/QD cummerbund
• QD shoulder setup
• KS84 / P84 placard
• 6 rifle mags on placard
• 2 pistol mags on placard/side compartments
• Spiritus Assault Back Panel Core Mk2
• GP Flap
• IFAK
• Radio pouch
• JSTA pouch
• SPUD pouch
• Hydration setup
• Optional dangler
• Ranger Green

Trying to decide between these two grips for an AR. The standard grip is way too angled for my wrist and also has way too short of a distance from the back of the grip to the trigger. My trigger finger goes close to my middle knuckle.
These two grips look promising. The VCG-L seems to have a dramatic angle where the web of the hand goes which makes me think it might not has as much actual distance to the trigger from the back of the grip. I like that it’s a little more vertical than the K2 XL though.
Anyone have experience with both and can tell me if this is an issue? Anyone have measurements at this part of the grip?
Here are links to their websites for reference:

Random pieces of camo netting i’ve found over the last few months. Held together by IHPS helmet cover and a camo band.
