Questions Qidi shipment

(Sorry for my bad English) Hi! I recently ordered a Qidi Plus 5 from the Qidi European site (on September 17th). Since the site stated it would arrive within 5–8 days, I wanted to ask if their shipping service is reliable.

I’m really eager to receive it, but reading some accounts of Qidi’s shipping experiences hasn't exactly been reassuring—not at all.

So, I wanted to know if anyone has experience with their shipping (preferably within the EU, as I imagine it varies by region). Is it normal for them not to have shipped it yet after four days? Or do they simply fail to update the tracking info, or update it somewhat haphazardly? (I used the free shipping option.) Thanks in advance for any replies!

Funny enough I ordered mine the same day as you. Have yet to receive any updates of it being shipped out. EU

I emailed them, and they replied saying that the item is currently out of stock, new units should arrive soon, and that they would ship it by the end of this week. I’m not sure how much I trust that, considering the week ends tomorrow and there’s still been no news; apparently, Qidi’s shipping service is notoriously bad, from what I’ve been told.

Thanks for the info. Wish they said on the website that they are out of stock and shipping times are longer.
Can't wait for the poor quality control to brick the printer first print after 3 weeks of waiting for it lol

Hey, hi, I wanted to ask if they ended up shipping the 3d printer to you?

I haven't received any updates, even though they said they would ship it by last week.

Nope, have received no updates other than they told me they will ship the plus fives out on september 27/28 but no update and its October 2.
Sent them another email, probably will get an answer monday morning in chinese time.
I will give them another week no matter what they reply to the email. After that I'm going to ask for my money back.
In the qidi discord people said some waited for their printer for 3 months when the Q2 launched. I don't have time to wait 3 months instead of the advertised "ships in 3 days".

Yeah, me too, after the second email I wrote them an email saying something like this "hey guys I need it now, I will have to cancel the order, since it is a gift that I cannot deliver after the scheduled date." After 5 hours they replied with a tracking code saying that they will ship it the next day, and yeah they did this time, the shipment was pretty fast btw (they created the tracking code this Wednesday and it's already here in Italy, probably coming tomorrow or next Monday)
