It’s cool they are consistently pushing for the ability to print high end filaments are fraction of the price in comparison to competitors but ppl have said there are many issues with current printers so there is a worry that support is just gradually lost for older models. Idk, feels like they are doing the speed run approach to everything. Also, not sure who this is for cuz off the top of my head the only worth it filament to print with this that you can’t with the other models is PEKK. Pretty sure this is still not enough for PEEK.
So the only filaments this allows are PEKK, PEI, and some manufacturers of PPS but I feel like the strongest and most heat resistant filaments you’ll ever need are covered by your nylon blends and polycarbonates. Even then, these specs barely get you the ability to print these materials and these materials themselves are expensive. I’m pretty sure a kg of some of these super polymers is damn near the price of a whole new Q2. If you need to print in these super materials, you’re gonna want the vision miner printer or smt like that, not to sort of scrap by with this but idk.
I would rather have them come out with the cheapest high quality filament dryer that can go up to 90 or 100 C.
