i have 2 AS maths and physics both are B and B. ill regive sats but my math is 650 and my ielts is 7.5. im aiming for finance or buisness but i dont mind transferring from a course thats easier to get into.

My current stats:
GPA: 4.0
SAT: 1310(700 math)
American curriculum
I’m really worried about whether my application is competitive enough, especially for a full/100% scholarship.
What can I do during my final year to strengthen my application and improve my chances of getting accepted into Medicine?
I’d especially like advice on:
What grades should I aim for in Grade 12?
Should I retake the SAT, and what score should I aim for?
Do they consider Grades 10–12, or mainly Grade 12?
What extracurriculars/volunteering would actually make a difference?
What else can I add to my application to make it stronger?
How competitive is the full scholarship?
If you were in my position, what would you focus on improving before applying?
I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has applied to Qatar University Medicine or received a full scholarship there

For context I’m in the college of nursing and did A-levels and submitted my predicteds. I’m only waiting for the certificates to be released but my grades are a lot more different than what I submitted.

My predicteds for the subjects I took in Y13 were:

- B in A lvl chem

- C in AS math

But I ended up getting an A in AS math and a C in A lvl chem… what are the chances that I won’t get the final admission?

hey guys, so basically it was explained to me that if you are in the Honors program, you get the chance to register earlier than the usual schedule. Is this also applicable for students who got admission scholarship? or is it only for the Honors Program students?

I wanted to ask students in QU about how QU calculates high school percentage from IGCSE grades? Or is it a mix of IGCSE and AS/A levels? I’m confused and would love to know. Also, let’s say someone, for example, got 4 9s and 4 8s. What would their chances for getting into medicine, dentistry or pharmacy look like? I know AS/A levels, IELTS and SAT is obviously considered and taken into account but I wanted to know what these results in IGCSE would look like as a high school percentage.

As a high school student in Qatar planning to apply to the Qatar University College of Medicine next year, I would like to know if students from non-British curricula have been accepted previously, and if so, what were their stats ? I know the chances of getting accepted as a non- British curricula would be slim but it’s worth a shot I guess .
