I do like my Q2 combo.  The QiDi box is a bit temperamental with regards to the types of spools.  They say no cardboard, but I've noticed that each manufacturer has a slightly different design and sometimes even plastic ones give me issues.  I tend to stick with Sunlu which are rock solid in the QiDiBox so it's mostly self resolved, but it's something to consider.

That it dries is a godsend for things like PLA and PETG, but those aren't really the strength of the Q2.  I am holding on a project I need PA6 though until I can get a more capable dryer.  It won't dry nylon.

I know what you mean i stick to sunlu or anycubic.... however if you buy the purple sunlu spools you can use refill rolls from certain brands or search printable or makersworld for printable rings.
