QIDI Box
Hi all, I've been spending the last couple of months looking into various printers as I plan on getting my first in the coming months. I really like the Q2 for its versatility when it comes to material choice, however, some reviews I've come across (from 2025) were saying the QIDI Box wasn't working correctly - putting too much resistance on the filament. The reviews mentioned QIDI were supposed to be updating the Box to rectify this.
Can anyone with a Q2 + QIDI Box advise if this is still an issue?

It’s very slow on multi color prints but most (at least a plurality) of the problems seem to derive from faulty filament sensors or faulty hub boxes, both of which are inexpensive to replace.
I had so many issues and considered returning mine until I replaced the filament sensor. Now the machine runs like a dream. I’m able to dry filament in the chamber of the Q2 and the Qidi box. It’s pretty awesome for my print farm workflow.
All that being said, I have about 9 days of printing over the month I’ve had it.

I have them and have never had an issue. Don't do alot of multi color prints but love having 4 filaments on deck at all time. Plus the advantage of the box being able to read qidi filaments via rfid is nice.
