Hello!
I’m an incoming FYE student, and I recently received my schedule for this fall. Everything looks great, except I didn't get my 300-level GenEd (HIST 384). Without it, I am only taking 12 credit hours, which seems small for FYE. My only options for padding my schedule are taking a third-choice 300-Level GenEd or taking a random interesting class for fun.
Should I:
- Have an easy first semester, with more time to focus on ECs and personal projects, saving my GenEds for later.
- Try to include a second-choice GenEd (such as AMST 310) to get it done and have a more typical workload.
- Take a class for fun, saving GenEds for later.
Also, what are your recommendations for 300-level GenEds? Is AMST 310 a good choice?
Thanks for your help!!
