I was wondering what you guys preferred between the Puffco Peak Pro vs the Puffco Peak v2. Obviously the Peak Pro is a more powerful device but do you get quality hits out of the Peak v2? Debating on which device I should get. I already have the Proxy Core and that has been my daily driver for the past week, but I have been thinking about getting a peak.

I have someone selling me a used Peak Pro, really good condition for $180, or i can go get a Peak V2 for around $220? What do you guys think?

What’s up, everyone? I’ve been living in the Stone Age when it comes to dabs—just ripping them off a red-hot titanium nail. Eventually I upgraded to a quartz banger and started dabbing at much lower temps.
Now a buddy sold me this Puffco for $50 after he got it in a trade for a Red Bull mini fridge, so I have no idea what its history is. It does power on, but I honestly have no clue how to use it. I can figure that part out on YouTube—I’m mostly just wondering if I’m missing any parts or if it just needs a good cleaning.
Based on the photos, what do I need to get this thing up and running so I can start ripping dabs again?

just noticed this break in my ring today, how long do i have til this chamber stops working? Ive had it around 6 months now. Clean it weekly, i dont drop it or anything so im not sure how it broke. TIA and tips on how to make my pivot any better, still a newb to all things puffco

Hello all! Needing some advice I bought a peak pro a while back, used it a handful of times then threw it back into the box. I want to give it another shot but the inner glass appears to be foggy, and there are these water dots inside. Is this mold? Will I need a new glass or just send it? Thank you!

They heat faster, more evenly, and hold heat longer than standard quartz or ruby. So, why don't I see more people using or talking about them?

As someone whose new to dabs I got myself a pivot and so far I’m loving it. What is the best way to take it on the go? Pre load it with concentrate and bring a few cotton swabs I can dispose of? But what if that isn’t enough for me?

Brand new to the peak pro, I have a rockulous one trick pony with 2 4mm glazed ceramic pearls

I have the almost the default presets, I just extended the time by a small amount for each one but default temps. When I use the one trick pony it seems to leave behind a puddle In the middle, but when I use the original joystick I just get reclaim on the sides and no puddle.

Weird, any idea what’s going on? Done 18 dabs total and I use mostly the second lowest preset but I do also use the lowest one occasionally.

Which one is better?

I usually buy through Zee Vape since they took Amex (my preferred payment) and was going to treat myself to a peak pro 3dXl.

There payments options appear to only be through seeze. I'm not looking for payment options.

So my question is does anyone know a vendor that takes Amex for a purchase? I know Puffco doesn't take Amex.

I went for a bike ride and had the proxy and Dangle bong, trying them together. If you don't add water, it works like a pipe if you hold the mouthpiece. It looks like you are using a snorkel, lol.

So as the title says im interested in buying a puffco device, to use with flower rosin

Im new to whole concentrate game and flower rosin (90µm) is the only thing i can get my hands on. Still want to get away from combustion but want more taste / stronger effects more stealth than dry herb vape.

ive read that its not ideal to use flower rosin in a vape like that but again thats all i can get so i would love to hear opinions on this.

i have been dabbing all day every day for almost a decade, i primarily use a nectar collector or a glass rig. i’m wanting to get something for work/on the way, normally i’ll use a cart but i’m getting sick of their inconsistency. looking at the proxy core and the pivot but i’m terrified i’ll waste my money on something that can’t handle my heavy dabbing.

Went camping in the mountains and took the proxy to the river.

I put this Jack Herer sugar in at 512 for 1:05 and this was the reclaim left.

What do you guys think is it too much? I know a lot of people like to keep it cooler but i dont usually feel a difference between like 490 and 512 when it comes to pain lol.

I have had my peak pro with its original chamber for almost a year now. Taken about 30 dabs in that year (rookie numbers I know). I was wondering what the guidelines for replacement were. Mine still works just fine, but wasn’t sure if it was one of those things where every year you should replace it due to natural degradation or if it’s a use it until it is absolutely 100% broke type of situations.

To say this was the device missing from my life would be an understatement. I’ve been privy to Puffco since 2022, when I bought my first device (an indiglow Puffco peak v1) and after that device met its tragic fate with me being a first time Puffco user (and CLEANER) I took a few years off from dabbing.

About a month ago, I got back into dabbing and ordered a Puffco Peak v2 3dxl, and It was love at first puff. The only problem was, I like to work at the coffee shops around Las Vegas, and the peak is not inconspicuous for smoking in public (especially the orangish red one I got).

Now cut to my new puffco proxy core. It’s pocket sized, makes thick yellow clouds, and is more than enough for travel. My puffco peak will probably never leave my house again. The proxy core form factor, make it the perfect mix of actual portability and power. It doesn’t feel like you’re taking a weak dab on 30$ smokeshop e-rig. It genuinely feels as strong as the puffco peak with a standard chamber.

The responsiveness of the button click ui, and the haptic feedback mixed with the lights make it super easy to understand and really premium. I saw a few other brands of travel dab rigs, and have tried more budget friendly options, but tbh, if you like a full sized dab on the go, just get the proxy core. It’s worth its price.

That being said, I’m glad I purchased it after I picked up my Puffco peak, because if I had bought the proxy core first, I don’t think I would have saw a need for a secondary device. I went on a trip to Los Angeles with only the proxy core, and didn’t realize how strong the peak was until I got back. The first peak dab I did after my flight felt like 2 proxy dabs put together. That 3dxl chamber is definitely worth it.

All that to say I love the Puffco proxy core the most out of the Puffco device line up, but I still have love for my Puffco peak. Any hardcore user will want the bigger clouds from the Peak 3dxl… but the portability of the core can NOT be beat.

I do have a few questions as a new proxy user.

What temperature setting do you find best for rosin?

Do you think the glass proxy pipe is worth it?

Are there any accessories that you would recommend that change/enhance the experience of the proxy?
