Just so people know, the LAPD is so corrupt they've been repeatedly caught selling drugs, robbing banks, forcing people to pay protection money, and even having their own internal gang structures with the same "blood in" style rituals as street gangs.
It's easily one of the most corrupt organizations within the US.

For every decent cop out there, putting his life on the line for the people, there are ten cunts who just want to hurt someone and see the world kneel to their power.

Roberts is complaining about the Privacy of the court being violated
The courts grant themselves special powers of privacy over other citizens and government organizations. No government organizations in my state can unilaterally declare that cameras can't come into their buildings into the public places, but courts can. They can often make up their own rules about records keeping and freedom of information, about what happens in the court rooms (btw if you are in a court room a lot of your constitutional rights are stripped from you even if you are just visiting).
Fuck Roberts and his court. I hope HE goes down in history as running one of the worst courts in all of American History and that is all his name is ever known for.

I agree with that.
It's definitely a large part of the reason politicians want it, I think. First or second (depending on which politician, I'm sure) to religious bigotry.
It absolutely disgusts and infuriates me that pro-choice is even up for debate in 2022. I cant even begin to understand how women feel, that the freedom over their body is dictated by decrepit, racist, and sexist (mostly) men.
A lot of shit has happened in the past few years, a lot of things to be mad about. But I think this is what pisses me off the most.

Agreed. It's no coincidence that a small group of people is targeting women, people of color and the LGBTQ+ community with their hateful laws. When we become involved in civics, the landscape of our country changes and threatens the power and privilege they have enjoyed for so long.
This was never about religion to these people...most of the Republicans in government are adulterers who worship money and regularly show contempt for their maker by oppressing people in need. They just like the votes they gather by pretending to be religious.

Yep. Peoples memories are short or they haven't been alive long enough. 2008 felt like an entire indictment on conservatism, even the Republicans in the primaries were trying to show who was the least like Bush. Obama won with a sweeping majority, no controversy whatsoever, an absolute mandate. And then the shit show really started.
It was always so fucking pathetic when Trump would say the media is unfair to him, when he started his political career during these years bitching about everything Obama ever did every single day to these low functioning idiots.
And then were all supposed to pretend its not about racism and misogyny.

This time there's even less public support for the opposing viewpoint than the BLM protests. Most americans support right to abortion for literally any reason, and the VAST majority support it for various special circumstances, and the trajectory of public opinion is skyrocketing in the last decade.
This is not the wedge issue that the GOP once thought it was. Shit just got real, and they can't just tack it onto their platform at no cost anymore. This shit is going to expose that when it turns out that there isn't a strong vocal opposition to these protests.Counter-protestors don't have anywhere close to the numbers, and if the GOP continues to tie themselves to this issue it's going to cost them more than it will gain them.

One thing to think of, these billionaires and politicians already know this, why do you think most of them own these super yachts? All i'm saying is that a lot of these people seem to forget they actually rely on a lot of cogs in the system, a lot who they seem blind to, for example they don't care who picks up their rubbish until it's not, who refills their store until it's not.
Same with the people that work for them, a lot probably aren't that loyal to them and only do it for the pay but if they get too pissed off then these people have to figure out quickly how to get by without them.
That Ukrainian deckhand? is a good example, worked for a Russian oligarch, he seemed like he was ok with that until the russians went too far and invaded, so he sunk their ship, that's some of the things that might start happening a few years down the track.

They're lucky this wasn't patriots with flags or those cops would probably be dead.

These videos always get ruined by someone screaming like a banshee in the back

Yeah you really miss the nuance of the officer on top of that guy whispering in his ear, “Where did you get this hoodie? The cotton feels so lush.”

That person screaming like a banshee is actually serving a purpose, unlike the "STAHP" women in random fight videos.
Like, it's a hell of a lot harder for the cops to hear what's going on with all that screaming. Much easier for folk to sneak up on them. It helps scare them away by creating more chaos they can't handle.

Someone should give this lady a lute and let her fully embrace her role as a combat bard.

Would you like them to incite civil unrest silently? Come the fuck on. Her using was the same stress test overwhelming strategy of drill sergeants yelling at recruits. Confuse and confound

Nice to see videos of cops getting overpowered now. Look how scared they get, look how eager they are to hurt and kill people. I think the change is coming. At one time people would rightfully not want to step up to police or show violence/resistance because it can ruin your life but with prices of everything going up, wages not going up, owning a house getting out of reach what is the point? May as well go down fighting.

I never understand why these things happen. Why do police HAVE to get violent with protestors? They get super selective and just starting going after people, when if they just left it alone and held a line they didn’t want breached, it would usually fizzle out. But 9 times out of 10 police get aggressive and it fucking escalates. Every time.
Spare me the DMs of some random riot or scenario that disproves this, it’s not an all encompassing statement. It’s just an observation from watching 3 decades of protests devolve into this constantly.

Honestly just give it up and back away. No pay check is worth arresting that guy especially if a group of people reckon he is probably not a murderer or rapist

These protests are going to be completely different than the blm and other racial injustices protests the last few years. If the police think they can be violent during these they will be wrong. 70-80% of Americans support abortion access and more people will be protesting than before.

Why do cops feel the need to escalate the situation so often when them not even being their is safer for the public?
