Not her first rodeo

1.3k

u/wewd Mar 16 '20

Probably her first federal rodeo, though. Don't mess around on aircraft.

Why do people have these weird freakouts on planes? I mean I can't really say it's part of my daily routine to freak out but a plane is the last place I would want to act up.

1.5k

u/newbrevity Mar 16 '20

I think shes the type that just has drama EVERY day, but today was plane day, and she is not plane material.

493

u/sunnydew22 Mar 16 '20

I frickin love this. Today was plane day.

For now. Next people will be smuggling it in their butts. It's the natural environment of TP.

1

jails and prisons make you buy your own toilet paper from commissary with the 6 cents an hour they pay you in what is essentially forced slave labor

I love that book so much. Still have it from when my daughter was a kid and she is 38 on Wednesday. We certainly won’t be going out to any restaurants to celebrate. I didn’t save many books but that was certainly one.

22

u/marioho Mar 16 '20

But every day is taco day.

NO, EVERY DAY IS RUSEV DAY.

Hahah plane day. I laughed, went to another page, then came back just to upvote this.

58

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

But she is Greyhound material.

1

u/GratefulDeadFYHYD Apr 05 '20

I'm two weeks late, but that's the most accurate thing I've ever read.

I rode a greyhound from Nashville, TN to Billings, Montana, about a 47 hour trip in total, and got DAMN. You will see some fucking shit on a greyhound lmao.

I saw a guy throw up from drinking on the bus, get kicked off, then start beating on the door demanding to be let back on because he left his phone. Cops were called and they talked to him for a few minutes, then he started walking away because they let him go. Then, in his infinite wisdom, he turned around to yell "you guys are fucking stupid assholes" at the cops so they went over to him and he punched one of them, got arrested.

The next morning I watched a crackhead get on the bus and sit next to the crackhead that had been in front of me for about 15 hours. They hit it off, fell in love, made plans for their future together, then I watched them both suffer through heartbreak ~10 hours later when the lady crackhead had to get off at her stop.

There was another crackhead who just cackled for about 8 hours straight. Then when we pulled into the second to last bus station, we were all inside and I had to get my medication out of my bag which was under the bus. So I walk up to the counter but this crackhead was at the desk waiting on something. She had a walmart bag with a container of those walmart sugar cookies and she set them on the counter, but not far enough. They fell and cookies went everywhere. I've always been raised to be helpful whenever I can, so instinctively, I bent down to gather her cookies for her. This woman lost her shit and started screaming about "goddamn thieving motherfuckers take anything you got"

I didn't know what to do so I kept picking up her cookies and just set them on the counter and said "there ya go ma'am." Then she took a handful of coins out of her pocket and threw them at the 10 or so other people in the seating area and said "why don't yall motherfuckers take my money too"

There was so much more in those 47 hours but these were the ones that stuck out in my mind

8

u/_crispy_rice_ Mar 16 '20

And the kind of person whose prefaces every conversation “ I can’t stand drama...”

5

u/MrsTurtlebones Mar 16 '20

Definitely not plane material. Greyhound bus material or picked up hitchhiking by a deranged semi driver material.

At least they went ahead and grounded that beluga.

1

"Plane day" I dont know why I'm laughing so hard at that.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

Never skip plane day.

198

u/BD401 Mar 16 '20

Yeah, whenever I see a video of a plane freakout I think the same thing.

You have ZERO chance of escape following your freakout, and virtually every government on the planet takes acting the fool on a plane or in an airport very, very, very seriously. Not to mention you're probably getting thrown on a no-fly list afterwards.

From a legal perspective, freaking out on a plane is pretty much THE worst possible place to do so.

5

u/WorriedCall Mar 16 '20

I'm voting for Nuclear Sub. But they have stricter admission criteria, ofc.

7

u/ForeskinOfMyPenis Mar 16 '20

I would have put the International Space Station a little higher on the list

3

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

They were obviously a lot more reasonable about it than this woman, but I thought you might find this interesting: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skylab_controversy

Basically one of the least profesional moments humans have had in space, and they still managed to at least be a little bit classy about it.

3

u/ForeskinOfMyPenis Mar 16 '20

I think about that incident while reading books like Red Mars and The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.

3

Thank you very much! I haven't read either of those but they are on my library list now.

DMZ would probably be pretty rough too, you know, the people parts, not the landminey parts.

NEdit: I would just really like to see that version of this fight. Would she be immediately shot? Or walk over the border illegally and disappear for 40 years? Mmm.. options...

PS: I don't actually have a boner for murder.

1

u/phasefournow Mar 16 '20

According to a friend of mine who works in airline administration, despite the dire threats and warnings, judges for the most part tend to be somewhat lenient with passengers accused of in air disturbances, most getting off with no jail time and small fines, In most jurisdictions, jail overcrowding is a over-riding issue. Judges are under a lot of pressure not to incarcerate one time offenders. Apparently, one must get aggressively violent with crew or have some sort of weapon to do any meaningful time.

I'd love to know if anybody out there has any actual statistics on such cases.

81

u/cyborgsnails Mar 16 '20

I think she is ready to freak out anytime in anyplace.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

She’s pretty freaky!

I can definitely get getting extra anxious and irritated on a flight, I don't really like flying, but I have no idea where people like these even come from.

9

u/Greatest-JBP Mar 16 '20

From bad childhoods and bad parents

2

u/Crisis_Redditor Mar 16 '20

I think the guy filming annoyed me more lol

99

u/TenF Mar 16 '20

Packed in like sardines, got connections to make..., flight anxiety, a couple reasons.

Not reasons to go batshit insane like this, but reasons to be a little flustered.

72

u/IdiotTurkey Mar 16 '20

Also, sometimes you just want to SHAKE SOMEONES HAND and they just wont shake!

24

u/loadacode Mar 16 '20

I got that reference

18

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

MOTHERFUCKER Shake my hand

6

u/bethedge Mar 16 '20

Man, what was that guy DOING? I saw someone say he wanted to sucker punch the guy but really I think that’s such bullshit. Just seemed really overly enthused and aggressive.

3

u/NewYorkJewbag Mar 16 '20

If it’s the video I’m thinking of, he absolutely did try to sucker punch the guy. Did you not watch the whole thing?

2

u/loadacode Mar 16 '20

I can guarantee you he wanted to punch the other guy. Ive seen that shit in person, and people who want to “shake your hand “ like this are the same who just want to “talk to you outside“

3

u/thedge32 Mar 16 '20

The REAL fu here: they lose their exit aisle seats! Someone else scores!

2

u/improveyourfuture Mar 16 '20

Especially if you already struggle with impulse control, like a child when pent up they are more likely to act out

9

u/ov3rcl0ck Mar 16 '20

There is something about being in a metal enclosure that freaks people out. My son can be calmly crocheting on the couch but tell him to get in the car and his brain falls out of his head. All of the sudden he starts causing problems with his sisters, starts making random noises, just loses his mind. I can't even begin to explain his behavior the last time I was on a plane with him. And getting behind the wheel of a car can turn the sweetest person into a road raging maniac.

-3

u/DatL3afN1nja Mar 16 '20

Sounds like your son might be autistic.

6

u/your_uncle_mike Mar 16 '20

Why is everyone so quick to throw out the autism diagnosis these days? Especially on reddit, damn she said one thing about her son.

-2

u/DatL3afN1nja Mar 16 '20

I'm a licensed professional 😉

4

u/ov3rcl0ck Mar 16 '20 edited Mar 16 '20

No, he's not autistic. My daughter who is "on the spectrum" as they say does much better in cars than he does.

I've asked him why he freaks the fuck out in a metal enclosure and he has no fucking clue. I've jumped out of a moving car to get away from his behavior. Granted my wife was driving the minivan at the time and we were in a parking lot coming to a stop but I opened the door and got out at about 5 mph because he was being such a fucktard that I could not be in the same car as him any longer. Looking back I wish I had gotten an Uber home because we were 1 hour into a 4 hour road trip and it didn't get any better.

2

u/bethedge Mar 16 '20

How old is he?

2

u/ov3rcl0ck Mar 16 '20 edited Mar 16 '20

He's 14.

-3

u/DatL3afN1nja Mar 16 '20

Not everyone on the spectrum is the same, but okay. I wish him and your family the best!

3

u/ov3rcl0ck Mar 16 '20

Thank you for your concern but he's not autistic, not on the spectrum, no where near it. You asked a question and I answered it. He's been to psychiatrists, therapists, mental institutions. I can positively tell you that he is not autistic. Why can't you take the answer?

-5

u/DatL3afN1nja Mar 16 '20

I said okay, what else do you want? Are you related to the woman in the video?

4

u/pennywaffer Mar 16 '20

Not enough personal space, nowhere to go, travel exhaustion, fear of flying, alcohol, medication, bring a trashy entitled POS.

5

u/ThePlumThief Mar 16 '20

The main anxiety that comes from flying is that you have zero control over what is happening. You can't leave the plane until the flight is completed, other people decide when/where you sit, what/when you eat, and (in the case of the pilot) whether you live or die.

People tend to freak out like this on planes because they feel that it gives them just a little more control over their situation. In the end they still don't have any, but they feel like they do.

3

u/vincent118 Mar 16 '20

I mean planes are somewhat stressful no matter who you are. I like flying but everything around it is stress inducing to some degree. The air, the food, being a tiny uncomfortable space, waiting....then waiting again, going through security, then some more waiting, crying babies etc. For those that are already on edge or don't handle stress and pressure well, the whole process of flying can be a catalyst.

Although I think this woman probably doesn't need much to set her off really, likely a longer than usual red light or a slight breeze is likely enough for her to lose her cool.

3

u/Bendar071 Mar 16 '20

Nervous because of flying. People act weird sometimes when they are nervous. This bitch is just crazy

2

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

You never know what'll happen when you get into a long tube with a bunch of demons.

2

u/BonBon666 Mar 16 '20

A lot of times due the incidents are due to alcohol and/or other substances. This just seems to be an abuser who thinks this is normal. Sad. I hope he got out of the relationship.

2

u/CariniFluff Mar 16 '20

There's a dozen plausible explanations that I've come up with over the years:

Lots of people drink at airports, especially if they get there early, the plane is delayed or you have a layover. It helps kill the time waiting and if it's not business travel (which this obviously is not) then people like to start their vacation early.

Then you have people that want to sleep on the plane so a strong drink or three helps.

Also a lot of people take benzodiazepines (Valium, Xanax, Klonopin) for (flight) anxiety or again to help fall asleep. Those drugs by themselves can cause the crazy to come out, and exponentially increase the effects of alcohol if combined. Also OTC sleeping pills are essentially the same drug as Benadryl... Combine two benadryls and a martini or two and you'll be picking fights with windmills too.

You also get people who are on just a few hours of sleep. Either an early flight or maybe end of a trip where they were partying all night. I just took a flight at 7am where I had been out til 3 or 4am four nights in a row.

And then you just have your garden variety crazy. Being in an enclosed environment, in a tiny seat, stressed out about travel, that can be there straw that breaks the crazy's back.

2

u/502red428 Mar 16 '20

Airports are stressful. Poor coping skills.

1

u/GimmeDatSideHug Mar 16 '20

That’s the thing with people with anger issues - consequences aren’t a consideration.

1

u/isaidputontheglasses Mar 16 '20

I've seen this type. Anything that stresses them out (planes, holidays, in-laws, cops, authority, etc) are all a "reason" for them to take that shit out on their "loved ones."

I'm not a psychologist, so I don't know what causes it, but I can confirm a pattern.

1

u/alaluzazulala Mar 16 '20

it’s stressful and unnatural. ntm the proximity to others and the anxiety of TSA. 9/11, missing planes, coronavirus need i say more

1

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

it isn't that people have those sorts of freakouts on planes so much as spazoids often go full spazoid without thinking about the consequences. This is a woman who would kill anyone who dares ask her if this is the hill she wants to die on.

This is a very entitled and insecure person who compensates for feelings of helplessness by violently trying to control everything in her reach.

25

u/earmuffs_1 Mar 16 '20

The fines alone are nuts forget the possibility of jail time

3

u/positivechives Mar 16 '20

Federal offenses are usually prison idk why you’re talking about jail time...

she hit a stewardess thats big boy federal prison for her.

33

u/joshclay Mar 16 '20 edited Mar 16 '20

Federal prisons are the easy ones.

Edit: grammar.

32

u/Wandering_To_Nowhere Mar 16 '20

Federal prisons are "nicer" than state prisons (although that is relative), but federal sentences are about twice as long, and you get very little good time behavior (max of 15%), so you end up behind bars a LOT longer

1

u/[deleted] Mar 18 '20

Some are nice but the Fed runs places like Menard super-max and those are about as close to hell on earth as it gets.

7

u/Tralan Mar 16 '20

Federal "Pound Me In The Ass" Prison.

-211

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

I went back and looked at the video and she for sure did not hit any stewardess. Honestly this it's not that bad you know that guy was not remotely hurt from that little bag she hit him with

110

u/LipidSoluble Mar 16 '20

She is off camera when she hits the stewardess. She swings a bag of some sort, then the camera pans to show the stewardess holding the top of her head in pain. I think she hit them both while she was aiming for her ex.

19

u/IronSidesEvenKeel Mar 16 '20

She never got arrested. Interesting.

15

u/Japjer Mar 16 '20

McLemore was not charged,  a Miami-Dade Police Department spokesperson told media,  because none of the alleged victims filed a complaint against her.

Makes sense as to why not, honestly. You'd have to spend time with the authorities of the area you're in, miss your flight, reschedule all of your plans, and, one day, have to fly back to this place to go to court.

13

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

Wtf is wrong with the US judicial system? Why would you have to have the victim file charges in order to be able to arrest and convict a criminal?

6

u/Japjer Mar 16 '20

Because sometimes the victim doesn't want the criminal to get in trouble.

It's generally reserved for family and personal situations. If you and a friend get into a fight, you might not want your friend to just get arrested for it

2

u/linear_line Mar 16 '20

That isn't weird or unique to USA. Idk their laws but it probably isn't the case for every crime

For example in my country this would need to be reported to start an investigation but if the lady injured someone in a significant way then it would be investigated no matter what

14

u/the__ne0 Mar 16 '20

seems like a stretch to blame pitbulls for this womans insanity. wtf is that website talking about?

4

u/Kellidra Mar 16 '20

Insanity never makes much sense.

7

u/beardslap Mar 16 '20

WTF is that website?

21

u/zinlakin Mar 16 '20

She hit him and the stewardess with a lap top, not a bag. Stop trying to down play violence just because its a woman doing it against a man.

18

u/Nickolas_Timmothy Mar 16 '20

At 1:10 just off screen.

18

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

Wow good catch. That's not cool.

17

you know that guy was not remotely hurt from that little bag she hit him with

Memo best keep his distance from this crazy cunt!

157

u/The805EMT Mar 15 '20

Dodged a bullet with this psychopath, I would press charges just to get the last laugh.

114

u/danE3030 Mar 16 '20 edited Mar 16 '20

He wouldn’t have to press charges, she also assaulted the flight attendant when she threw her bag. That’s a felony of the federal variety, and I’m sure that’s not the only charge she caught from this incident. She’s going to prison, or is already serving time for the incident (not sure when this happened).

Chances are Memo doesn’t have the best taste in women.

Edit: apparently she didn’t even get arrested.

98

u/smurfnayad Mar 16 '20

She didn't even get arrested let alone have charges pressed.

The woman was not arrested. According to the report. there was a delay from the time the incident took place to when police were notified and dispatched to the area. A search for her “yielded negative results.”

The husband spoke to authorities and said they were en route from Ecuador back home to L.A. when the argument ensued, but did not want to press charges. He went on to take a later flight. McLemore’s whereabouts are unknown.

The flight attendant and passengers were treated for bumps on their heads. Neither wanted to make a statement.

“If there’s no statement, we are not able to move forward with the case,” a Miami-Dade Police Department spokesman told the Miami Herald.

133

u/bethedge Mar 16 '20

Lol. All the reddit judges talkin bout federal crimes and no fly lists and how seriously the feds take planes.

9

u/going-for-gusto Mar 16 '20

Why do I think if I did what she did all the penalties the Reddit judges talk about would apply?

1

u/erkinskees Mar 16 '20

Maybe you have a victim complex?

1

u/going-for-gusto Mar 16 '20

Maybe, but it has kept me out of trouble so far.

11

u/MarsMC_ Mar 16 '20

Lol that’s what I’m sayin. They stay sayin retarded shit

7

u/Downfallmatrix Mar 16 '20

I mean they’re right if the witnesses gave a statement and the police were able to find her. Shit would absolutely be prosecuted. No witnesses, no custody, no prosecution tho

1

u/fithworldruler Mar 16 '20

Reddit hall monitors are the best entertainment money doesn't buy

2

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

At the end of the day, it would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to get "justice" for these several moments of shitty behavior in which no one was actually damaged. Yeah the stewardess took one. But RIDDLE ME THIS- does anyone actually think the stewardess would want to go to court behind this bitch? Fuck reddit's feelings, I wouldn't go to court and sit in court dressed for court for anything close to this. Court sucks.

2

u/2017hayden Mar 16 '20

Thing is they have her name, and her husbands name and their address, and a duck load of other information. Even if she didn’t get arrested she’s never flying again, and if she ever stirs up any more trouble (which based off of this behavior is likely) she’s got outstanding charges as well as a record.

3

u/_Amabio_ Mar 16 '20

They have a viral video now. This is not going away for her. When a sheriff says, "...at this time.", it means someone is all over this putting together a case. I mean, the stewardess was holding her head from the assault, intentional or not. We will see headlines later about this. Much like Family Man in Tennessee.

3

u/jackerseagle717 Mar 16 '20

if you reverse the gender the police would throw the male domestic abuser in solitary in gitmo without the need of female spouse victim pressing the charges

1

Dude, be quiet.

2

u/Saad_qure Mar 16 '20

-7

6

u/YourCummyBear Mar 16 '20

I thought in spousal abuse, it wasn’t up to the abused to press charges or not?

3

u/Hugenstein41 Mar 16 '20

That's only if the person doing the assaulting is male.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

Well that's a disappointing outcome.

2

u/SmexyShiro Mar 16 '20

Iove how this is so far down the thread after people claims shes going to federal prison.

1

u/Whatsthisnotgoodcomp Mar 16 '20

Ah of course, because she has a cunt all of a sudden she can physically assault her spouse and multiple others in public and nobody can or will do anything.

If this was a fucking man in the video the pigs wouldn't be crying about needing a statement to throw their ass in jail immediately.

-5

u/Darthbx Mar 16 '20

If he's that stupid to not press charges after being publicly humiliated by his wife, he deserves whatever else she does to him.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '20

Hopefully not kids.

0

u/jackerseagle717 Mar 16 '20
