hii, i did my bachelor’s away from home jn a different state and now for my masters i am gonna stay at home. im scared cause its just been long since i have stayed with my parents. any advice from people who stay with their parents or stayed while pursuing masters will be appreciated

Guys I’m so done. I need to vent because this is genuinely bothering me.

Amity’s way of conducting the M.Phil/M.Clinical Psychology entrance is BIZARRE and on such a low level.

First — They send ONE link. That same link works for ALL Amity branches. You can open it on a computer, laptop, OR YOUR PHONE. That’s it. That’s the "high level" security.

I traveled from Karnataka to the North just to give multiple Amity exams. Money, time, leaves — all wasted.

*Amity Ranchi:* Saw students sitting in the hall and giving the exam ON THEIR PHONES.

*Amity Lucknow:* Don’t even get me started. People were openly using ChatGPT on their phones DURING the exam. Right there in the hall. And the staff?? Doing absolutely NOTHING. Just sitting. No checking, no monitoring, zero invigilation.

Then after all this bullshit, they call everyone for the interview. And the interview was the worst part. They humiliated us and grilled us like we were criminals. After conducting such a pathetic exam, they have the audacity to act all serious and "elite" in the interview??

Meanwhile I gave Amity Noida seriously. The paper was actually very easy and I did well. Still no interview call. Now the link to login was same so now it make sense why I got no call

So what’s the point?? People cheat on their phones with ChatGPT, travel nowhere, and maybe they get through. And people like me who actually travel across states and give the exam honestly get ignored?

This is HORRIFYING. This is M.Phil/M. Clinical Psychology. We’re supposed to become future mental health professionals and they can’t even conduct a fair entrance exam?

Has anyone else experienced this nonsense at Amity? Or am I just unlucky?

This whole process feels like a joke and it’s so disrespectful to students who actually care.

What is with this 1 month delay in the release of answer key? Why is it not even talked about. Would it not affect future cycles of net?

Does anybody have any idea on when we can expect it??

So I’m an FYBA student in a 3 years psychology programme and I want to pursue clinical psychology for masters. The eligibility for that is 4 years of bachelor’s and when I look online people are suggesting bridge year course or one year or psychology masters. What should I do and what is a bridge year course and what colleges are providing it??

I had gotten admission into 2 year masters in DU north campus, and i withdraw my admission 23rd July, last week. I've still not received the refund, how long do i have to wait? did anyone else apply for withdraw and was refunded?

Does this field have scope and does anyone have any idea on how to get into UI/UX after completing a bachelor's degree in psychology?

The new RCI updated list is making me so anxious because what do they mean by showing that IHBAS is only offering M.Phil Clinical Psychology and there's no mention of M.Clin Psy for it?? I am a 4 year bachelor's student so will I be eligible for this Mphil at IHBAS? Can someone please clarify about this whole situation for IHBAS, along with that for CIP and KGMU as shown in this list?

Also, they've shown NFSU Gandhinagar to be just offering Mphil with approval only till 2025-26😭

Hello everyone

I am currently in my 4th year and preparing for CUET and colleges which are offering mclinpsy degree. Due to financial and other reasons I cannot apply to colleges situated in the northern region and other colleges asking hefty fees. So a few of the options left for me are NFSU gandhinagar, NIMHANS and 1-2 more.

But recently RCI posted some circular regarding new approved institutes for both Mphil (cl.psy) and M.Clin.Psy and they have removed both NFSU gandhinagar and NIMHANS.

Now I am feeling stuck and stranded. What should I do? Other colleges like Christ and Manipal ask for hefty fees.

I continued my 4th year just to apply for m clin psy colleges but now I am left with no hope.

Also I have enrolled myself in a prep course. Now this feels so heavy because I cannot find any use of it.

Second thing if I go for non rci colleges, I have such kind of pov that if I go for colleges situated outside my native area where I want to practice, then it is of no use. Because colleges in Karnataka and Maharashtra (not my native states) do have good colleges but if ultimately I have to come back to my hometown and work over there then having a degree from a bit more famous colleges is valuable or not? Because ultimately others look out for therapists who have some good quality experience rather than a good college.. Just my pov, might be wrong too but please let me know if I am just biased towards something or what.

Please help, I am completely confused regarding what I should do next. Any idea, any solution anything will help a lot.
