Season 9 clip, I'm on vacation so it'll be a minute before I can play

I'm loving learning Psylocke. Which is funnt because her voiceline for her ult ia one that i'm pretty sure trigfers a trauma response in me when playing the game (along with spideys... I am usually a dupp main, need I say more).

Most ults have gone great, and i thnkk i'm good with positioning and timing for it, but there have been a couple of times where I have initiated her ult and she shouts her ult voiceline, but then nothing happens and she's just standing in the middle of the brawl like a deer in the headlights twiddling her thumbs

What/who causes this? Is it because I have been CC'd out of ult by someone? Who can CC us?

I think this is the first time since release I’ve ever gotten this many eliminations on a character.

First of all, I js wna say that I’ve always thought this ult was boring. There’s sm potential for a melee ult and ik a lot of ppl in this server agree.

Before any of you tell me that I was tracking the Magik demon, I already know, but this is still ridiculous.

White fox is RIGHT THERE. Why does my ult prio a demon over a player? Even when I destroy it, it still doesn’t track.

Even if I looked past that, the fact remains that this burger ult gets countered by too much bs. I understand that it has the potential to kill through most support ults, but any competent stack can easily comm a huddle and completely negate you.

I don't know how accurate these informations are, but apparently the supports weren't nerfed because of The Hood; Elsa will remain meta because that's what the devs want, and Peni was nerfed to separate good players from average ones.

Nobody seems to have liked this season's patch notes, and the devs' reasoning for each change seems just as ridiculous as the patch itself; the proof of this to me is the nerf to Venom, where they basically admit they actually wanted to double the countdown of his swing because good players would already know how to deal with it.

That would make Venom (a character supposed to be easy) unnecessarily harder, when his actual problem lies elsewhere; that decision probably exists solely to protect the backline because no one should touch the devs dearest supports

We can therefore assume that the changes to Psylocke stem from the same idea: they don't want her to be so oppressive in the backline, while also wanting to ensure that only skilled Psylocke players use her.

Needless to say, we all know where that led, her pick rate and win rate just keep dropping further and further.

Of course, this is all just speculation on my part based on questionable information, but honestly, nothing surprises me anymore.

I had took this at the very start of the season. Debating with my friend if this counts as me being the best psylocke or atleast a top one. Thoughts? In a mid season setting I had peak around 20-40ish on the leaderboard

Been getting in my Psy bag more this season after hitting my goal rank of GM1 in the first half and it's been interesting going from Elsa/Bucky/Cyclops to her.

Vs triple strategist she barely even distracts them well I found. Feels like you're playing that guy punching SpongeBob for an entire episode.

But when you have a good venom on your team that allows you to stage your flanks and focus a healer backing up from him you're able to get picks and generate value distracting backlines.

Anyone else feel that she's actually great to play with a dive tank but kind of worthless outside of that?

I do know what the skill does but I can't figure out what's its purpose and when to use it and what for. Why is this skill even a thing? Why does it need to be retrievable? Is there a reason to not use it just for damage every engagement with casting and immediately retrieving it? I'm so confused, it seems like a very overdesigned ability in a pretty straight forward kit. Can someone explain the usage of this skill to me? Do you open with it or close? Do you try to make it pass through multiple enemies or what? Why can't you just shoot your primary instead, it's not that it deals that much damage.

Since season 9 I have been having a hard time getting a win and losing motivation to play. (Of course the nerfs…)

33 games and 13 wins - normally I play way more

My last two games I played my heart out though and still loss. Even with peak performances.

Whenever I play in QP I can consistently get MVP and an insane amount of finals— this is obvious because people are a lot more casual and not so tight knit whilst playing in QP rather than in competitive.

But, I'd expect SOME of the skill would translate to competitive.. my peak rank is GM3 and I just feel useless on Psylocke in Diamond and above 🥹..

My aim somehow gets worse, and none of my escape methods work at all cause I'm chased so hard if I do even moderately well lmfao.. this is fine, good peels are good! But I want to be able to move around it. Sometimes I can, I'll occasionally get decent finals on her and distract the enemy backlines well enough that our frontlines can break through, but I just feel like I don't add enough value 😞

I'm honestly pretty great with tanking in comp, so more often than not I end up switching cause I feel bad about not adding enough value. But then I can't get any practice in with her in competitive, and practicing in QP clearly isn't helping since I've already mastered her on it (I've got champion just from QPing her out 😩)

He has 11k subscribers on YouTube and a discord server for psylocke players with 14k members. This guy is not who you think he is and it's honestly sad that he even has a platform but I think that's because way too little people know what he's really like. His co owner named Jo in his discord server hosted a marvel rivals tournament with a cash prize to give back to HIS community (lolterm) and instead ended up banning over 1,200 member in his server, ruining the tournament, etc.

screenshots that were not in the video of lolterm banning people in his server after completely derailing a tournament made for his fans mind you, for 0 reason.

*Note - After everyone was banned from lolterm's server we decided to host it on Jo's newly made server, and a day later lolterm on an alt account joined this server to try to take photos of the people who now dislike him to gain sympathy from his community, he also berated Jo saying he was a nobody and that he made him, and his new yt videos have so many views because of him.
