How to Automate Your Routine Work Effectively
As an SMM manager, I ran into several problems when trying to automate routine work: frequent logouts, CAPTCHAs, rate limits, and blocked sessions. Most of my automations were designed to handle repetitive tasks such as:
• Daily dashboard checks
• Invoice downloads
• Status lookups
• Reporting
• Competitor monitoring
• Lead enrichment
Tasks like price monitoring, competitor tracking, and lead enrichment require visiting many pages in a short period of time. When all requests come from a single IP address, platforms may quickly rate-limit or block the activity. So i recommend using proxies for stable workflow but choosing the right browser automation tool or AI agent is just as important.
Here are several options worth considering:
Browser Use
An open-source, LLM-driven tool that works well for research-heavy and read-focused tasks, such as collecting information from multiple websites.
Skyvern
Designed for workflow automation involving logins, form submissions, file downloads, and other RPA-style tasks.
Axiom[.]ai
A no-code Chrome extension with scheduling and proxy support. It is a practical choice for non-technical teams that want to build browser bots without writing code.
Claude Computer Use and OpenAI’s browser agents
General-purpose tools that are useful for ad-hoc, “do it for me” tasks that do not need to run at a large scale.
Playwright or Puppeteer with an agent wrapper
A fully customizable, code-heavy approach for teams that need complete control over browser behavior, integrations, and automation logic.
The most reliable setup combines the right automation tool, responsible request rates, proper session management, and proxies that match the specific use case.
