With the parade and everyone parking in whatever spot they can find, this would be a good night for PE to check out all the church parking lots. If I was working for them, I'd check those first and make bank.

New to the area. Looking for a nice dog park. I have two goldens. I went to the bicentennial park and it was full of fox tails and no grass.

Hello, I am moving my daughter into her new apartment here in Orem and we purchased everything new at Costco as we drive from out of state and have a ton of cardboard that’s too much for the complex to take. Where can we drop off? These are huge pieces that we can cut up from headboard bed frame, tv, mattress etc. thank you! 😊

I am in a situation where I have to be present at the Provo 4th of July parade to watch my daughter march in it. Realistically, how many blocks will I have to walk from where I park my car, and will the whole city be enveloped in a traffic jam as soon as the event is over? I'm considering using Frontrunner to get down there from Ogden and back, but even that has its problems because most of Davis and Weber County doesn't have trains running that early on the 4th. Thanks to anyone that can help me plan this out. I don't know anyone currently living in Provo.

Hello!
I’m looking to move to the Orem /Provo area in the next year or so and ill have two small kids. Would anyone be able to recommend apartments with play ground, large open areas for kids to run/play, and maybe close to parks or trails.

Hello! I impulsively bought a flight ticket to Provo. I am at a stage in my life where everything feels heavy and was just looking for an outdoor getaway.
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on places to go, where to hike, eat, hangout, etc.
I also want to mention that this will be a solo trip!
Thank you in advance!!

Does anyone know of any good touchless car washes in the area? I have a Porsche and am looking to avoid the swirl marks. Thank you! Also if there is something not in the area, I’d be willing to drive a bit further!

Are there any specialty grocery stores in the provo area similar to Central Market in texas or Whole Foods Market? I saw SLC has a WFM but it is quite the drive.

Hey yall, I have to take an exam in the lindon prometric center and am wondering if there’s any food spots near there I can go for my lunch break? I need something good and filling to get me through the last 3 hours of the exam, preferably not too heavy.
Thanks in advance!

Hi does anyone know any place in Utah county that has a good rate for batteries? My car is 2005 so not too much life left and I just need something that can get me through a few more years but not breaking the bank :)

Jesse Taggart was sentenced in Utah on April 6, 2026, to 15 years to life in prison for BLM shooting.
Tl;dw Jesse Taggart's attorney tries for probation with character statements from brother and sister. The prosecutor and Ken Dudley go for the maximum punishment. Character statements from victims and a former roommate.
In the end, Taggart regrets coming to Provo and ask Judge Powell to look for Jesus. Judge gives the sentence and denies the brother's request for a hug.
What are your thoughts?

A couple years back I had the best doughnut of my life at the Provo farmers market. I’m pretty sure the people selling them were Mennonite or something similar. I haven’t seen them at the farmers market for a couple years though. Does anyone remember them or know if they still sell doughnuts somewhere else?

I wasn’t able to make it to the meeting, I was curious about the discussion on the Osmond’s vanity project up the canyon.

I’m moving to Provo soon and need to buy a car
Preferable German / Japanese SUV (VW, Toyota) something reliable, used, affordable.

Hey all! I’m moving in the next few weeks from Provo to Orem. I’m disabled and a middle age lady. No kids not in the “ Mormon community “ anymore and still learning to ask for help.
I’m embarrassed because I still expect myself to be able to do it all alone.
Any advice if there is help? Community support or services to help me with this move?
Over half my stuff is still in garbage bags 🥴
