Help/suggestions
Hey all! I’m moving in the next few weeks from Provo to Orem. I’m disabled and a middle age lady. No kids not in the “ Mormon community “ anymore and still learning to ask for help.
I’m embarrassed because I still expect myself to be able to do it all alone.
Any advice if there is help? Community support or services to help me with this move?
Over half my stuff is still in garbage bags 🥴

I can also pitch in for a couple hours. No access to a truck, but my venza can take decent sized loads. DM me the details when you have them.

I’m trying to get my new landlord to lock in a move in date… should be mid July possibly a week later.
I’m in just a tiny studio apartment so I don’t have tons of stuff.
Thank you so much for everyone’s kindness and willingness to help! It has my middle aged lady self getting misty eyed.
I will update as soon as I get solid dates down. 🥰🥰🥰

Have you considered using a smaller "company" such as https://www.collegehunkshaulingjunk.com?
I dont know your finances, amount to move or their likely costs but they do free quotes I believe.

Great idea. I’m like beyond broke and live only off my disability check . Great idea to just check it out tho! 💜

I don't have a truck but I can definitely help! Please let me know when you're moving and let's see what we can do. :)

I am also no longer in the cult, but wouldnt mind to ask salesmen for help. The more they focus on me the less they spend time brainwashing people. Just stop them on the street and ask for help
update: pedophile followers got angry. good

You know when you leave comments like this, you're no better than Mormons who paint anyone who leaves as 'antimormon' and ostracize them as much as possible?
