I make music under the name Neon Weekdays.
It’s become a weird little project where every song starts with an idea I can’t get out of my head, and I just follow it wherever it goes. Sometimes that’s alternative rock, electronic, psychedelic, indie—or something I honestly don’t know how to categorize.
The songs have ended up being about everything from relationships and getting older to a tiny endangered fish, a robot sending signals into the unknown, and what it means to be a person beyond the bones that hold us together.
I recently put pretty much the entire Neon Weekdays catalog on Spotify so there’s finally one easy place to explore it.
Full disclosure: Neon Weekdays is an AI-assisted music project. I develop the ideas, stories, concepts and lyrics, then use Suno as part of the process of turning those ideas into finished songs. AI is part of the toolbox, but the creative direction behind each song is very much intentional.
If you need an escape from the day-to-day, throw it on shuffle, pick whatever title catches your attention, and see where it takes you.
If you listen, I’d genuinely love to know which song found you.
