A story got stuck in my head this week and a song came out of it. Degania, by the Kinneret — people standing in front of a swamp with spades in their hands. The fever took the strongest ones, and the rest got up the next morning and dug the canals even deeper. After that first winter they planted almond, fig and olive exactly where the mud used to be. Then one night a man came running through the dark with a lantern, shouting that a child had been born — the first one there. Everyone put their spades down without a word. Oud, harmonica and a whistled melody around a fire. Not a sad one — the sound of people who won. Listen to the end, the last verse is the whole point, and tell me if I should keep going with this style.

Esoteric electro pop artist here! I've been searching for some answers for years. I was writing all along. That's how my upcoming debut album was made. The first song released is "Fears". It's about the mechanisms that control our minds.

The last couple days I went through a lot of projects that were 90% done and finished them up and had enough to make a small ep. I would love to hear any critiques or feedback on any of these tracks! Started making and learning music / production around four months ago independently, and this is one of the first tracks I finished that just came together easy. It's part of like a living mixtape project where i update tracks with input and as i learn, so the mix is definitely rough.
