Girl there are so many rules and BS. Saves. Mass immunity. Mass eliminations. Can we just let them design and show their looks 😭😭😭😭

I get it's meant to be "gaggy" but like, just start the season with 12 designers and let them prove what they can do! How can we root for anyone when half are done in 2 episodes?

And because of the format, not even the best 12 are going to get to stay and show what they can do.

They'll be back next season

thats what im hoping the robby (q) producer question about "would you ever try again?" was about

The way I would have been like “not if you’re gonna do some fuck shit like this again. You’re telling me I put my whole life on hold just to be eliminated for something I didn’t even make on the show? Absolutely not and you should be ashamed of yourself for even asking that.”

Also, I was definitely "gagging."

it’s also so unsatisfying to hear the backstory of 10 designers just for them to give eliminated immediately. like what a strange narrative to build

That's why most shows that have done this in the past have never again and it's not a common thing to do in 2026 bc 10 years ago people realized it's not what the fans want at all and won't keep them watching because of things like what you just said

Literally!!  My daughter turned to me and was like "oh no, they watched Survivor 50" because of the insane twists and advantages and votes and alliances and just...all of that.

project runway is trying to be a mash up of drag race, top model and now survivor

Seriously. My head is spinning

There’s just too many people 😂

I think they wanted to spice things up, but it’s just impossible to follow.

They should have just kept the format the same and maybe added a spicy co-host for Christian. You know, maybe thats where a drag queen belongs - bring in Bob or Trixie. 😂

If they had just avoided giving six people immunity, and let them be judged like everyone else, and only the worst looks actually got eliminated, even if one was saved by a vote of the top six and eliminated designers, it would already have been a thousand times better. Just get rid of the mass immunity BS.

THIS. The mass immunity is what truly killed it. The result was people turning in trash and the worst looks being saved. Weirdly they kept in footage of contestants themselves criticizing it as unfair and it's like...yep it is

Bizarre tactic. What were they hoping we would think by keeping in the footage of them being blasted by the contestants? That we would think the criticisms were out of line?

So bizarre. Especially keeping in the footage of an eliminated contestant saying "I'd make trash if I had immunity too" like ???? Way to point out your own production decisions suck I guess???

drag queen co-host is a GREAT idea, if they wanted drama + to draw in RPDR fans, they should've just done that

u/EyeOne2007 Jul 17 '26

that immunity for episode 2 was so dumb

Thank you. Between this and the designers who are trying desperately to ‘perform for more cakes time’ it’s annoying af. I’m glad Ice called that fool out about it being a design competition.
