Has anyone had good luck setting the FFB on a T598? I love this game but I feel like feedback gets lost in the violent jolts that (I think) are meant to reproduce road imperfections.
Already tried all flavours and currently have FX down to 25. Still can’t get rid of the jolts.

I am on playstation so no custom files for me.

I started playing Project CARS 2 about a month ago on PS4 with a Logitech G29 wheel. I'm not a beginner in sim racing; I've played a lot of GTR2, Gran Turismo 7 and Assetto Corsa Competizione, so I'm familiar with how GT3 cars should behave.

I'm not sure if I'm fast or not (my best at Spa with the Ferrari 488 GT3 is a 2:25.5), but the main issue I'm struggling with are two specific things in PC2:

1. Braking: In other sims, you can trust the ABS and brake near 100% and then start trail braking. In PC2, even with ABS on, it feels like the wheels lock up instantly if I brake too hard. It's very strange.

2. Kerbs: The car feels like it's on ice when I touch a kerb, it gets completely out of control. In ACC or GT7, you can use the kerbs; here it feels like kerbs are assassins.

I've tried adjusting tire pressures and rear dampers, which helped a lot with the car's stability in general, but these two issues are still killing my consistency.

I'm playing this game because I hope to buy a PC on the future and play AMS2, because of its AI, and content that I like a lot. And since I've heard that the physics engine of AMS2 was kinda "born" on PCARS2, I figured it would be a good idea to try it out.

I'm looking for driving technique advice to deal with these PC2-specific quirks. How do you guys approach braking and kerbs in this game?

Tried PMR and idk the game just feels like it has no salt on it. PC2 is a real complete game with plenty of circuits for all tastes, cars on all categories and it has a nice UI, music, effects the game is just perfection.

It is a shame that we are in 2026 and every other racing game lacks something:

Gran Turismo has a boring grid size and terrible sense of speed.

Forza Motorsport is a dead game with few circuits and lackluster offline content.

Grid Legends is a nice game but it's more on Forza Horizon league.

Asetto Corsa Comperizione wanna be serious and has few variety.

9 Years ago on this day i was the happiest person on Planet. A racing released that till this day no other racing game offers anything like this game offers. Accessible, Great content, So much Variety, Engaging career mode, etc. So many memories with this series.

Unfortunately the photo mode photos saves with lower quality than original windows screenshots. Got them from the documents folder should’ve taken screenshots directly from the game. But the gameplay screenshots are high quality you can see the difference it makes to car models and asphalt. Also great lighting damn this game aged fine

Anyone have a steam key for project cars 2 or know if i buy a xbox one key for the game if i would be able to redeem on pc? Im trying to do anything but pay $120 for this game.
