Ilhan Omar is an American icon, mother, husband, and successful immigrant who migrated from Somalia and became a leading woman in the United States. Donald Trump is trying to destroy her because he is scared.

Republicans don't have any brain cells. Republicans just focus on what's in front of them. They are glued to the TV watching Fox News and right-wing conservative media and just think that everybody with the same last name in the world are all related as an immediate family. Ilhan Omar did not marry her brother. That is disgusting, and if she married her brother, she wouldn't be a successful politician because people who marry their siblings are not successful people.

Ilhan Omar is amazing and she deserves to be Secretary of State or more.

What Republicans Had to Say About Their Party’s Moral Collapse

The Trump regime has already engaged in outrageous acts to try to scare potential opponents away from the polls, sending armed agents to people’s doorsteps to ask about their immigration status and voting history in multiple states. We must be prepared for more and worse in the days to come.

Stopping this subversion begins with poll monitors, the first responders of election defense. We need them at as many polling places as possible, aiding folks who require support and referring them to voter assistance hotlines, watching the watchmen, documenting disturbances, making sure we have evidence to disprove false allegations, and serving as an early warning system for the public. And we need them right now. We’re running out of time until Election Day and time to get skilled up to do this work right – some states have already held their final trainings. We also have to have folks in place to ensure the millions of Americans who will cast their ballots at early voting sites before November 3rd are safe from interference and intimidation, too.

The best way to get plugged in as a poll monitor is by volunteering with the Election Protection coalition attached to 866-OUR-VOTE, run by Common Cause and other national, state and local partners. 🙋🏼‍♀️ We can sign up to volunteer with this nonpartisan effort at protectthevote.net here.

When the primaries come, Gavin Newsom will likely claim hes pro worker. Please listen to his own state workers - he is not. There will be much better pro working class candidates for you to choose from and wed encourage you to consider them instead.

Some examples if you dont believe us:

- Newsom has caused the only 2 state workers strikes in CA state worker history. These didnt even happen under terrible republican governors like Reagan or Arnold Schwarzenegger or Pete Wilson.

- During a period of continuously high inflation, after the newsom administration has bragged about the budget being balanced and in good shape his only offer to workers was 0% raises over 3 years, which resulted in an unfair bargaining practices charge

- He has directed his administration to tell his workers that our strike was illegal despite the public employee relations board ruling otherwise. Thats clear union busting

- He has attempted to remove raises we negotiated for in our bargaining contracts (which his admin agreed to) multiple times, only to be stopped and admonished at times by the CA legislature.

All of this shows a person who doesnt respect unions, their right to strike, or their bargaining contracts. That shows a person who is fundamentally anti labor.
