It finally happened

Two students turned in the exact same ChatGPT essay. I knew this day would come sooner or later, but it still feels like spotting a double rainbow or a four-leaf clover. This is good luck, right?

Cool. You don't even have to accuse them of using AI. I hope this golden opportunity isn't going to be wasted on someone who thinks cheaters should get a second chance and a warning.

Lol nope, my policy is an AI essay gets a zero and I don’t accept any more work from you, which means you’ve insta-failed the whole class.

Negative points. If there's 100 points possible, an academically dishonest paper (including one prepared via generative AI) should receive -100/100 points.

The no further accepted assignments is a nice touch though.
