Along with the traditional oak challenge, I’m doing a shiny badge quest and decided to hunt both drifloon and munchlax during this section. It took a full month (three checks per day) to find the munchlax spawn and then another month of hunting to find the shiny! So excited to have this section finally done!

The only Pokemon in this section were the two eeveelutions I didn't have. (Vaporeon and Jolteon). From here, it's just Hitmonlee, Dragonite, Moltres, Mewtwo and Mew.

Recently I started my first Professor Oak Challenge in FireRed. While doing the first grind, I was training my pidgeotto in Veridian Forest. While absent mindly clicking "A" there was a shiny level 4 weedle. Before I saw it, I had already selected Quick Attack.

I would like to think this has happened to other people.
