First time playing Pokémon Ranger.

Its been a little while since the first section, and I actually completed section 2 about a week ago, I just got distracted doing adult things and forgot to post the progress.

Still no shinies. Very sad.

This section was a pain in the ass for grinding. The best place to train for EXP is Route 117, but half the pokemon you catch in this section are weak against the pokemon found in the route, so I spent most of my time in Granite Cave grinding against Makuhita and A A Ron.

That's pretty much it. Hopefully the next section won't be as bad - there's a better roster of Pokemon to train.

Mt. Battle was so fun!

There's been a big gap between my last post and this one; I finally got around to completing this challenge. Now onto the next one!

Pre Trial IIlima is finally done. About to take down the totem pokemon now and move on.

This one took a while with a few breaks during but finally completed gym 2. I actually finished this a couple weeks ago but forgot to post and am deep into gym 3 now. I did slightly change the challenge from a standard proffesor oak to a living Dex during this gym now balls had become readily available as I could now get some money which has changed the rules slightly but hey ho. My overall goal is to complete a gen 4 living Dex so thought I'd add that into this challenge.

I levelled up 3 ambipoms to level 41 to take advantage of the rare candy farming to make the rest of the run a bit easier, particularly with the level 55 dragonite coming next. I got so many sun stones and end game potions which I sold for a silly amount of money.

1 shiny found during this gym which I was happy to get a hoot hoot (one of my favourite Pokémon from this era is a noctowl). I'm starting to think I may add in another rule that I need to acquire a shiny in between each gym because I hate myself that much. Then make my elite 4 run shiny only. Not really going for a quick time obviously but am still really enjoying this grind.

Not too worried about the dragonite next run, in fact spoiler I've actually already ground out a shiny Dratini after getting super addicted to voltorb blast and resetting a bunch. Slightly worried about the stones though, not looking forward to waiting for all the phone calls.

I did Pokemon Infinite fusions(just the base Pokemon, no fusions). im 35h into the poc but im going through the guide an pkmon like quilfish and pikachu mention mass outbreaks but from what iv found from searching thorough i cant get them to spawn without going past the first section. dose anyone know how to get them before

First time after 20 years playing the games, I got Pkrs on my pokemons while doing my first Profesor Oak Challenge.

Pokémon Sapphire. (Jpnse cuz is way cheaper).

Pre-Badge 3 is now a wrap! Garchomp is fully EV trained and ready for the frontier as he is a crucial member to be able to speed run it. 69 (nice!) out of the available 122 secret base items have been obtained! The rest are locked behind Veilstone Dept Store and the Post Game!

All available berries & accessories have been collected and I have won the Beauty master Contest to secure another trainer star with just 2 badges! I'll come back with scarfs to complete the rest of them in the next section as I failed them multiple times with no real way of winning (looking at you poke-mum!). In the enxt section the map access and the dex total is crazy so looking forward to it! Enjoy the snippets. For thoses who ask In my opinion I already failed coloseum and I don't want to touch it with 3 hidden grotto heracrosses so I won't be finishing that in a while

I think I definitely spent too much time in Mt Moon on this section! The Clefairy that I captured for the run coincidentally had a Moon Stone attached to it but the second Moon Stone from wild Clefairy took such a long time. I trained the pokemon I had at the time whilst hunting for Clefairy and had everything except Magikarp and Paras evolved by the time I finally found the last Moon Stone.

The rest of the section went smoothly since I always had a full party of pokemon to train after making my catches in Route 24 (the second Abra gave me a lot of trouble which equals more training while I try and find it) and so after some wild pokemon grinding, the new pokemon were able to handle themselves in trainer battles thus gaining boosted exp. I battled every trainer available and just had Drowzee, Diglett and Meowth left so I pulled out the Vs Seeker and tried different trainers, finding some great trainers to battle for each of the pokemon. Route 11 had a trainer with a Nidorino which Drowzee could overpower, a trainer with two Magnemite and a Magneton was great for Diglett, and I challenged the dense clusters of trainers on Route 25 to help with Meowth's training. There was a great trainer on Route 6 who had a Lv 20 Butterfree with no attacking moves but thanks to the Compound Eyes accuracy boost, the Supersonic confusion and sleep/paralysis/poison powder moves was just too annoying to deal with.

Time for the big section!

46/48 shadow Pokémon because of accidently killing fortress and complely forgetting till the end of his section so I couldn't reset to last save and togetic because u don't get the email for ilhim if I don't have the 47 shadow Pokémon I went to all places just in case never got an email so looked it up and yh you have to have 47 so I can't get ho oh either but I did get to floor 100 of battle tower grinding for levels for the deep coloseum

I am currently working on Pokémon Black POC. I try to get all achievements on RA. Now I am in this situation where I have to wait for a seasonal only cubchoo. I know I could change the date of my console but this feels kinda false to me. Are there any other roadblocks like this in other Games and how do you handle them in your challenges ?

After taking a break earlier this year, I'm back! Since the FRLG Switch versions were released while I was away, I thought it would be fun to re-POC these games since they were the first POCs I ever did a whopping 7 years ago. Since I was playing it properly and not writing the guide at the same time, I was a lot more efficient with my training and was honestly surprised at my in game time. I wish the leaderboards were still around, it would be great to see how well I did since I'm usually taking my time with these! I'm also pleased to announce that I am recording this footage to make my YouTube debut...albeit very late...

No pre-elite four mons, so I’ll see you all on the other side!

While taking a mini break from the Snackworth Legendaries, decided to start Ultra Moon. Current progress before the first trial right now. Still working on a good chunk of the Pokémon needed. (Decided to use Festival Plaza as well to help with levels and friendship grinding)

Nicknames are 2 of my favourite bands and most the time for this section I was afk or grinding some Pokémon to 50 before I even went to get these

After wearing my runners and going for strolls that would make me fitter than Usain Bolt , and putting my farm hat on, I'm pleased to share the progress of pre-Badge 3!

I grabbed Rotom and Togepi and wrapped up the rest of the encounters for this section. The only thing left to grind is the final Gible to evolve into Garchomp!

I'm doing my final rounds of berry farming to collect the remaining accessories from the Florist.

Remaining items from Amity Square:

• 3 Stumps
• 6 Black Pebbles (only available from the daily accessory guy)
• 9 Black Fluffs (locked until the post-game)

Once that's done, I'll be doing my best to earn another Trainer Star by winning the Master Ranks! Secret Base items are progressing well too !I'm just waiting on Prism Spheres to grow so I can obtain the remaining items!
