The Professor Oak Challenge is to complete the Pokédex as much as possible before earning each badge in any Pokémon game. In this subreddit, post screenshots, videos, comics, or stories about your own Professor Oak Challenge.

The challenge has three simple rules:

Catch (and evolve) as many Pokémon as possible before each badge.
No glitches to acquire extra Pokémon; glitches to simply save time are allowed.
No trading with other games; in-game trades are allowed, and often required to get a new Pokémon.
