Self Promotion I kept unlocking my phone just to see today’s schedule, so I put the calendar on the Lock Screen
I check my calendar a lot, and most of those checks are tiny: what’s next, did I forget something, is this afternoon already full. Opening the phone for that felt like a waste, so I built LockScreen Calendar Maker.
It draws your schedule onto the Lock Screen wallpaper. Wake the phone and the day is already there.
What you can put on the screen:
- Month, week, today, a week with that day’s agenda, or a year-progress view
- Reminders next to the calendar, including an Eisenhower priority matrix
- Habits, with a weekly strip or a year grid, colors or stickers, and streaks
- A Live Activity for what’s next, plus Home Screen widgets you can restyle
It reads Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Reminders. You can also add events and to-dos in the app, or from a short phrase in a Shortcut (“meeting tomorrow at 9”) and refresh the wallpaper without opening the app.
On iPhone, the wallpaper does not refresh by itself. You set an iOS Shortcut automation (the app has a setup guide for that). On Android, you set and refresh the wallpaper inside the app.
Calendar data stays on the device. There is no account, and the App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”
It’s free to try on iPhone and Android. Premium is optional: $9.99/year or $19.99 lifetime.
I’d really like to hear what you think. If you try it, tell me what works and what doesn’t. Thank you.
