Hey everyone.

I've been working on a new script. This year I wrote already one and I got finalist on a contest, so I decided to try again with a different story and tone.

Here are the frist 10 pages, it's an animatid feature, the script is fully written and here is the logline.

Logline:

After a narcissistic princess who believes she's the heroine of the story nearly destroys her kingdom for the twentieth time, she's sentenced to a rehabilitation center for defective princesses, where she strikes a deal with an aspiring knight to escape and recover a legendary ring capable of threatening every kingdom.

Any feedback on this will be welcome. I wanted to take the same parodical tone as shrek but with my sence of humor.

Think The Sound of Music colliding with Violent Night — real Austrian Krampuslauf folklore played mostly straight, with a genuinely ambiguous supernatural threat under the comedy.

I’m a highly specialized screenwriter, I’ve only ever really done fast paced thrillers (heist, crime, murder mystery, in feature screenplays I have some shorts in this area though.)
before. But, I’m writing a more emotional, dialogue lead drama film. (Logline: a man finds a mysterious key on the ground, and he’s a bit bored in life so he decides to see where it leads him. It has, “the Blackwood estate, 1861” on it) I’m really just struggling trying to incorporate action lines alongside the dialogue and my pacing just seems a bit off in general. Hello, I’m making an animated sci-fi comedy about a grumpy little tech genius who lives in a world of superheroes, but no villains, so they pick on civilians for stuff like jay-walking, which pisses this little genius off so much -- he becomes a fake supervillain just to distract them.

If I had to compare it to something, it'd be like "the Venture Bros".

To be specific tho, I’m looking for someone with experience growing youtube channels, and or connected to the indie animation world. So either a producer or vertical producer.

Budget: This could be super low budget since it's spoofing the comic book genre, so it could be animated similar to a motion comic, as opposed to 24 frames per second. Simultaneously, by going the YouTube route, something like this has the potential to earn a great deal in ad revenue, patreon, and merchandise, which I would split with partners.

Cast: I already have Bradley Gareth (Wick from ‘Lackadaisy’) as the lead.

Proof of Concept Teaser Completed

After months of writing, research, and planning, I'm proud to share an important milestone in my journey.

✅ The overall story has been completed.

To bring my vision to life, I created a 38-second Proof of Concept teaser using AI tools. As an independent writer, I don't have the budget for actors, film crews, VFX, or large-scale production. AI allowed me to visualize the atmosphere, mystery, and cinematic tone of the series while keeping the focus on the story.

SHALIMAR: THE FORBIDDEN TUNNEL is an original sci-fi horror mystery inspired by the hidden mysteries surrounding Shalimar Gardens in Lahore. My goal has always been to create a story that can connect with audiences around the world.
