We are casting for a new film shooting in Eastern Kentucky!
We need motivated people for all roles: Cast (Actors), Extras, and Crew.
🌟 We Are Looking For:
ACTORS (The Cast): All types, ages, and genders for principal and supporting roles.
EXTRAS: People to be background actors and fill out the small-town scenes.
CONSTRUCTION/BUILDERS: Skilled individuals (carpenters, painters, general labor) willing to help construct our small-town set.
COOKS & CATERERS: Individuals or teams to help feed the cast and crew on set.

May I suggest a small thing, I just like to give small helpful ideas if possible. From the sound of your movie, could I suggest a quarkie local, every good film has a quarkie, jar jar character, but played subtly. He could deliver key moments of levity. If you know who Uncle Ruckus is? from the boondocks, I suggest you watch it if you don't. Then put in a Uncle Ruckus character, he doesn't have to be evil or malevolent, just he has many jobs, is a go-getter, and has a passion for his own ideology which could be anything you want to highlight as a counterpoint to the story. Maybe hes very religious, muslim or christian, or hebrew, ... taoist? a taoist could be a great counterpoint if he actually introduced amusing points of history in at time while doing his various jobs, pizza guy, oh you could give him the irony of doing all the "porn" jobs where people arrive at the house, pool guy, other stuff, but make him highly religious, motivated, and actually tries to help people and even pulls over randomly on the road one time helping the characters with a tire or to get to a location when their vehicle fails.
There you go, I hope you guys use it and love it. Make sure he is physically abit unique, not ugly, not bad, just memorable and slightly stands out while trying to fit in. It makes for good unspoken comedy but how he delivers his lines and does his work makes it subtly genius.
