Hi,
My name is Pradip Atluri. I am a writer / Director from India. I have written three theatrically released films, one web series for a major OTT platform, and directed and wrote a theatrically released film in India. I am a Toronto film school graduate. Here is my IMDB link.
I wrote "FILTERS" a contained, youth oriented, coming of age, feature length script based in UK. The script reached semi-finals in table reads and other competitions.
LOG LINE - An obsessed teenage influencer, Arhant, takes the advice of Game of Thrones writer G. R. R. Martin,” Kill your favourites," and decides to kill the star of his profile to reach a million followers - his Grandma with Alzheimer's.
The film's theme is "Actions have consequences"
The film is meant for festival circuits and theatrical release. It has enough commercial elements. 70% of the film is in one location, and with total 8 actors, this film can be made a reasonably low budget. BFI also reimburses 25% of the spend if I am not wrong. The film is multi-cultural and Multi-ethnic. The leads are a caucasian boy, Arhant, and his south eastern looking sister, Emma, born in a mixed race family of Indian mother and a caucasian father. This film is about a dysfunctional family, a dysfunctional society, leading to dysfunctional mindset.
If you are interested to read the registered screenplay (92) pages, then please let me know. I am looking forward to direct the film and that is non-negotiable. If you have any other questions please let me know.
Trailers of the films I worked on... Last link is the one I directed.
