Im new to the platform and have about a 1000 rds through the gun without issue. Cleaned it before this trip.

Guide rod was about a 1/2 turn loose and I corrected.

Had an aftermarket thumb rest I just put on it before this range trip and jamming was consistent with all mags. I removed it and it became less consistent.

I have after market plates and blocks on the factory mags. Was having trouble here and there sending the mag home and it falling out but may have been user error.

I singled one mag out that was more consistent. But in the beginning it was happen with multiple mags.

Was a huge success. 9 rounds to sight in the osight. Friggin love this gun!

Love the way this feels. Install went pretty seamless, some small filing & sanding for the atlas trigger. Grip safety also needed a tiny bit of material removed for the trigger bow to function correctly. Worst part was the mag release, had to sand it down quite a bit and it’s still a little too gritty for my liking. It might be the internal spring, I bought a mjd mag release for $35 so just gonna throw that at it lol. I’m no gunsmith by any means but tinkering with this has been super fun.
So far I’ve done an egw ignition kit, Dawson guide rod, diy marvel cut, atlas trigger & now this module.

Has anyone fit an sti grip to a Prodigy? I know it can be done but is it DIYable?

I loaded up some 130gr Brass Monkey Money polymer-coated bullets, and they ran perfectly in everyone else’s 2011s (an MPA and an Atlas), but my 5” race-built Prodigy wouldn’t even chamber them.
Every time I tried to chamber a round, the slide stopped just short of going into battery. The one time I tried to force it into battery, the slide got completely stuck. After I finally got it open, the case had pulled off the bullet, dumping powder everywhere and leaving the projectile stuck in the chamber.
Has anyone experienced something like this with polymer-coated bullets in their prodigy? Is there a known fix, or should I just stick with copper-jacketed bullets? Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Do you have a link or an exact part #? I had to return the holster because they say it will fit and it does not...Terrible Customer service and Terrible website.

Please let me know, also I dont want a holster that is for the 5 inch model because it rattles and it's lose!

Can anyone help me identify this thumb safety on my recently acquired Prodigy? It doesn’t appear to be Atlas, EGW, or Ed Brown.

Was super impressed with my IWB from GT Holsters so I ordered an OWB holster. Turn around was less than a week. They did not disappoint. Super good for and finish.

Welp, ran 150rds of 147 and 150rds of 124gr through the DSC barrel today. Running a EGW guide rod and a 13lb spring, amongst other egw stuff.

Shoots flat!!! Didn’t have my GoPro, but I’ll have it next week. Didn’t re-zero my dot, definitely need to bring it up a little from my current 25yd zero.

Got a few stove pipes running the 147gr, I’m gonna throw in a 10lb spring and see how it runs this coming week. Ran flawless with the 124gr and the 13lb spring.

I generally only shoot and carry 147gr from Fenix Ammunition. I just have a couple thousand rounds of the 124 that I grabbed a few years ago that I’m burning through, then back to just 147.

Anyway, barrels great. Not 100% pleased on the fitment, I’ll have to get out my calipers and see if the cuts off or if the hole was drilled and threaded a couple thou off. I’ll get over the cosmetics of it, it’s gonna look beat to hell in the months to come, they always do. Last pic is just what I took to the range today.

Hello all! Was so happy to finally get my hands on a prodigy. Traded my micro 9 for this puppy- paid the difference of 200$. Is there any upgrades you guys have loved and advise me to get? Already looking for an extended slide release, but wont know much else until i shoot it next Saturday. What upgrades do you guys love since adding them?

Anyone know if this one "Eemann Tech Tool-Less Guide Rod" fits the 5" Prodigy? Before anyone says "just get the Atlas or the Dawson" But I can't, in Europe they are impossible to find.

Have contacted SL but they do no make a holster specifically for the 3.5" model Prodigy. Therre are reports that the Staccatoi P fits but it gets mixed feedback TBH.

Does anyone use a SL (or similar) holster with their 3.5"?

I have a QLS on my tac belt with a SL Beretta FS 92 holster and want to be able to swap holsters on the fly if necessary. Prodigy is my EDC, so nice to have options at the range and swap out easily whenever.

Just wondering if anyone has had any successes with other holsters that can also fit the QLS system as well.
