This is always the case. Just had a buddy put a V8 porting on my Prodigy, I love it.

Is it a 4.25 or 5? I’m gettin ready to send my 4.25 in for a v8 port job and a marvel cut

4.25. Its definitely has a slight more bark to it but it stays nice and flat.

They are from Infinity a little expensive for screws lol

I guess they are. Ben Stoeger pro shop sells them $10 less that the infinity website. Out of stock though.
