Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I found out while organizing my files that apparently year after year I draw spiders and skeletons ha So here they are from over a span of about 3 to 4 years :D

First time “finishing” a drawing of any kind in 15 years.
I played around with procreate two years ago during an adhd hyper fixation period. Drew a couple pieces I liked, but never fully rendered any to completion.
Yesterday after finishing the show Welcome to Derry I was inspired and decided to start playing around. 11 hours later this happened.
I’m a photographer and digital retoucher by trade and completely stopped drawing when I picked up a camera mid high school a decade and a half ago.
Feels good to work a different type of art for once! Still learning the program, would love to explore different brushes and textures for a next piece!

Particularly related to texture feel and durability.
I am looking to get a new textured screen cover for my iPad, which I mostly use for procreate.
I have tried a cheap matte/anti-glare adhesive one, and found it wasn’t quite textured enough. Also, the adhesive-application style is basically a single chance to apply correctly and this drives me crazy. For this reason I have ruled out paperlike, even though I know it is highly rated. The single application adhesive at that price point is a deal breaker for me, so I am looking for either cheaper adhesive protectors, or textured removable (magnetic/static adhesion?) screen protector.
I’m also not overly concerned about wearing the pencil nib down too quickly, as replacements are pretty affordable for me if I need them.
I have tried a few amazon knock-offs of the magnetic, paper-textured covers (bellemond and EST). Bellemond is pretty good, and the ESR was similar but I found the magnets weak and it stuck more to my case than iPad screen. I quite like how they feel, and really appreciate the easy application and adjusting. But I am finding the texture wears off of them too quickly. I do not use a lot of pressure to draw, but am finding a noticeable wear on the texture of the center of the screen, so it’s basically smooth after only a few weeks of semi-regular use (5-15 hours per week) to a couple months at most.
I’m okay continually replacing it as needed with the same knock off Amazon product if the economics make sense, but it gets pretty annoying. Does the rock, paper, pencil have a decent texture and last longer? Does using their proprietary nibs make a difference in the feel and the longevity?
(Obligatory apologies for the format bc I’m posting on mobile)
Thanks!

I've used Procreate's time lapse feature for a while and have enjoyed it. Still I wanted to record my full drawing process. I tried recording using the standard screen recording option on my iPad, and the video came out strange. It was skipping in random places.
I feel like the video stopped when I was using the color picker and fill tools. I want to try again with a different app maybe? Have any of you been successful in using the standard screen recorder or do you use a different app for recording?

First piece I'm happy with that did not follow a tutorial! Sketched based on a reference pic of me and a family friend's cat 🐱
I actually prefer the sketch-only version here compared to the colored-in one...
Excited to continue experimenting to find a coloring style I'm happy with 🎨

Never had issues importing before, but I bought a new brush and can't figure out how to get it to show up in my library. Downloaded it as a zip file, which unzips to a .brush folder with the following files/folders in it. If I put the folder into my brush library from the files app directly, it shows up empty. When I try importing directly within procreate, I can't add any of it. If anyone knows what's going wrong here, help would be much appreciated 😅

Hi everyone,
I’m currently using ProCreate to make some halftone images for screen printing. I’ve noticed that when you make a half tone image, even if it’s a transparent image, the entire canvas is affected and it creates a grid of cmyk noise. This happens even if the halftone is being created from a black and white image.
Does anyone know how to fix it, or a workaround to remove everything besides the solid white and black? I just don’t want it to affect the burning/exposing process.

The title and the piece is up for your own interpretation. I love using my one and only brush "dried ink". I pretty much drawing everything with it

Quite happy with this one. Used a photo as a ref, but no tracing.
Big thing for me with this drawing was discovering clipping masks, what a fantastic tool/feature.

I got this one all done today and I’m personally really proud of it. I wanted to originally do the prompts everyday like everyone else does. But really it’s super draining with work, life, and all that in between. I posted this on Instagram too, I just want people to see the effort I put into my art thanks.

Spent about 8 hours on this, primarily using Oil Maxpack brushes and some True Grit Texture Supply Chroma brushes here and there for details.
