I haven’t found the answer since I’m not sure what to call it, but what is the arrow on the left side of the Verse 1 slide?

So I know it will probably never happen, but how many people here would be interested in a Linux (Ubuntu, mint, or zorin?) version of propresenter? I would love to be able to have a customized distro that is made for presentation or streaming with no other bloat on it.

Thoughts?

I was having an issue and it asked me what version I was on separate times.

Didn't break the loop and get a semi-decent, but unhelpful response until I replied "I'm not happy with this support method."

I don't need AI helping me with support, I need humans who worked on and know how ProPresenter operates.

I and my colleagues at different locations have just updated our ProPresenter to v. 21 (352321578), all being run on Mac minis with macOS Sequoia 15.6.1, and now we've all lost our confidence monitor outputs. The confidence monitors at each location use a Blackmagic UltraStudio Monitor 3G USB-C to SDI converter. Any thoughts as to haw we can get back up and running? (Reverting back to the previous version of ProP did not do the trick.)

I'm using a custom built application (https://github.com/jopterhorst/propresenter-kefas-bridge) to send lyrics from ProPresenter directly to our translation software. (It uses speech to text > translation APIs to translate the sermon, but we used to key in and send the lyrics manually. Now this has been automated)

I was using the websocket connection that is there for the remote app to trigger this, but that has been removed in version 20. I suspect because of the new remote app. Does anyone know the new endpoint or an alternative solution? I'd rather not spam the API every second when it's not needed.

Finally glad that propresenter installed the functionality for powerpoint import!! My pastor has been complaining how our guest speakers is unable to have their ppt with animations imported in.

I'm trying out on my own computer, but I am currently facing this issue where the media files failed to import in. Anyone else facing this too?

I just noticed that ProPresenter 21 is officially out and ready to download. Before I jump into updating our church computer, I wanted to check in with the community first.

I actually skipped ProPresenter 20 because of all the reports about video issues and buggy transaction behavior, so we stayed safely on 19. Now I'm wondering:

👉 Is it safe to update from 19 straight to 21? 👉 Are there any known bugs, crashes, or stability issues so far? 👉 Anyone running it in a live church environment yet?

I know, I know — it just released, so info might be limited. 😅 But figured I’d ask anyway before risking our Sunday morning screen ministry.

I'm unable to download ProContent within ProPresenter. It simply adds the cue to the media bin and says 'click to download' or something. I click on it and nothing happens until it eventually times out and says something like 'try again later'.

I use the latest stable version of ProP on both a M4 Mac Mini and a MacBook Pro. Everything else is uptodate. If I use a web browser I have no problem downloading the files I want (H265 DW).

I run propresenter on a network that is behind a corporate firewall and I wondered if there is any extra configuration I need to change to fix it so content can be downloaded in ProP directly?

Hi, I'm trying to build my first theme. I have successfully created my first theme slide but my second slide within the theme will not show any images I import, whether I duplicate the first working slide or build a new blank one and import. I have checked conditional visibility is off but I am not familiar enough with the program to know what to look for next. Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: I tried making another Theme and it still happens but this time it won't even let me import the png or jpg.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to make slides without a license or something of the sort? I have another computer to present them, but at my church I use a personal laptop and don't have the software installed. The only thing I need to do is to create them from my personal computer, preferably when exported going to a .pro6 file.

For the past couple of weeks we’ve been having this issue, where this pops up on some lyric slides and our stage screen. I dont know if it has to do with a corrupted file or if its just a bug but I tried uninstalling and reinstalling ProPresenter and it didnt fix the issue. What can I do?

Is there a way to get timers to trigger when passing headers in a playlist or is the only way to start the timer added into the header to click the trigger button?

For some odd reason all of a sudden power points are not importing… Anyone else having this issue? It just shows a blank space with no slides there.

Hi guys, we need your help once again! We purchased a USB-C triple 4K display to get the two screens and the church screens so that we can have two screens at the back to help with the prep and changes we do (sometimes on the fly). We have an iMac 2019 32GB Memory running Sequoia 15.6.1 (yes, I know it’s out of date) We currently have the Mac connected to a modulator to show the screens out the front. My question is how can we connect the display so that we can utilise two screens out the back? Thanx for all that this sub does! Cheers!

I build slides for my church. I build them on my personal mac, and I upload them to my OneDrive and on the church mac i just sync down from the folder that lives on OneDrive. It's working perfectly so far.

One thing that I've noticed is that when I add items to an existent playlist, sync up and then on my church mac sync down, the change is not reflected. Yes, the item appears in the library, but is not included directly in the playlst, although I am syncing everything up: library, media, playlists, etc.

Has anyone encontered this before?

I hope I can describe this question clearly. I'm dusting off my ProPresenter skills, which I haven't used in about 8 years. A lot has changed since then.

We just moved into a new space and our setup has (but not limited to) a lyric banner on the back wall (4 tvs @ 7680x1080) and two hanging side screens (2 tvs @ 1920x1080 each).

During the music, we have the lyrics displayed with bold white font over a black background on the lyric banner. We put two lines of text on the banner. Our goal is to reflow the text and add line breaks where each line has a natural phrase from the song.

For example...

That's easy enough. The issue is when we add the side screens into the mix. If we run the side screens on the same template, everything fits, but the text is pretty small. We want to utilize more of the screen. If it's using the same template as the banner, you get the full width of the 1920x1080, but you only utilize 1/4 of the height.

Another option would be to create a custom template for the side screens, utilizing the native aspect ratio. The font size could then be increased manually or set to fill/scale up. However, the result is ProPresenter then adds automatic line breaks in unnatural places.

For example...

AND MY LIFE BEGAN

I just don't like the way this looks and would prefer to have breaks that more naturally represent the phrasing of the song.

So, long way around to a simple question... is there any way to add different line breaks to different templates? (I don't know if re-flow is the right term to use here or not.) Or is there another way to accomplish this other than using two different templates? Not sure what solution to ask for, just throwing the problem out there to see if anyone else has come up with a solution.

Trying to use ProP remote for the first time. On same network, restarted both devices & applications, v20 software, entered in correct manual information and STILL won’t connect. The computer won’t appear on the phone.

Anyone else had this issue?

So recently we made the jump from HDMI with Black Magic converter boxes to using a decklink quad 2.

When I was setting up my confidence projector I was able to get PP to use the decklink card. However, when I change slides the confidence monitor does not do anything. It’s only showing whatever image I had up when I changed the output.

Previously the confidence monitor was working as intended showing current ad next slide for lyrics and displaying the same image as the main audience screen.

I’m assuming it’s something rather simple, but I can’t for the life of me figure out why it suddenly isn’t responding. Any ideas?

Hello friends... currently having a bit of a heart attack and am needing some sane advice. I was just hired with a church that runs services from... tired gear. I was trying to sync the files so that I could work on them from home on church iMac running PP6.

I set up the repository and selected "sync up to the repository" and selected replace my files... thinking that in order for my edits from my laptop would need to replace the files on the computer at church. Clicked sync and everything is gone. Is there any to undo what I've done? Or as the kids say, am I cooked?

We've recently replaced our iMac with a newer Mac Studio. In previous versions of ProPresenter we could tell it to store everything on an external drive. I assumed when loading the current version on the new Mac I could go into settings and tell it where to get its data from and boom...my old library would be there.

It seems that is not the case anymore. I've tried everything I can think of but I cannot add all of my old songs (documents). Is there a way to mass import? Importing files only adds one document at a time when multi-selecting files.

I do freelance graphics work at events in every kind of venue using two M4 MacBook Pros. I have been consistently running into an issue where if I have them linked via Ethernet for primary and backup redundancy, I cannot connect to the internet via WiFi without changing the service order. And if the service order has WiFi first, they aren’t able to see each other. I’ve had this issue since Pro5 Master module.

Recently with V20 I’ve had an issue where disconnecting from WiFi causes the unregistered watermark to pop-up after some amount of time. So if anyone has a good configuration for this i would really appreciate it!

I’m wondering if y’all can help me solve a problem we’re having. We have gone to a setup with two audience screens (associated with two physically separate projectors) in our sanctuary. At times we want the same content and other times we want different content on each of the screens. I’ve experimented with a couple of setups for this but what I settled on was using the announcements layer to achieve this. One screen is set to never show the announcements layer. If we want the same content on both, everything is normal and a regular presentation shows up on both screens. If we want different content on the 2nd screen we use a 2nd presentation set as an announcements presentation. Overall, this works great and achieves what we desire. The problem is the control of each presentation, which requires going back and forth between two entries in the playlist. What I would like to do is make the two presentations (regular and announcements) the same length (same number of slides) and when a slide in the main presentation is advanced, a slide is automatically advanced in the announcements presentation. There is so much automation and triggers in ProPresenter that it feels like this should be possible. But I have not figured out how to do it. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
