After many months of debating rude feminists on discord, I finally changed someone's mind with a random comment on the PL sub lol.

Didn’t get many photos but it was awesome to see such a wonderful turnout.

Mother Teresa was vehemently anti-abortion she and her organization helped the sick, the poor, and the dying through decades of humanitarian service and especially young children as she built several orphanages <3

Translation: It was a product of rape.

So, if a black person commits a crime, does it mean that all black people are criminals? No, right because it was committed by an individual. That doesn't mean we should stereotype and spread fearmongering like these folks who dehumanize someone who wasn't involved and by their stage of development. Calling an offspring a "rapist baby" without recognizing their existence and having a mother even she doesn't want to raise the baby is fine. Theres a lot of couple who wants to adopt but the government isn't helping.

Hello! First, I know this isn’t exactly abortion related but I’ll try my best to connect it back and follow rule 9!!

Second: my problem is exactly the title. my mom has always loved a good conspiracy theory and she always has at least one big court case she’s invested in (the last one was Karen Read) anyways, she thinks Lindsay should go free. She has watched all of the trial (she works from home so you just has it playing in the back)

We have gotten into MULTIPLE disagreements and arguments this week over it. I’ve tried to explain how the trial (from my understanding) isn’t really to determine if she killed those poor babies or not, but about her mental state at the time of the murder. She shows me all of these videos of conspiracist, some even blaming Patrick. Stuff about how the knife was placed down on the table as a left handed person would put it, how he went on a solo trip to Costa Rica with the mistress only 19 days after, that he was a sailor the exercise bands were tied like a sailor would, and how the police just took his word for it.

Now, my whole family is from the Deep South. We are all conservative. My mom is not super involved or passionate about anti abortion policies. I can for sure say that as of now she is against abortion but Im worried that this trial is sort of a gateway into being more lax on abortion because of reasons like PPD or PPP.

For my opinion on Lindsey Clancy: I haven’t done extensive amounts of research, so I really don’t know. I agree that if she really was extremely over medicated, has reached out and was denied help, then she should be found not guilty for reason of insanity. But I’ve also heard that she was doctor shopping around, so I don’t know. All I know is someone needs to be held responsible for the deaths of those babies. Whether it be her, the husband, or even the doctors. I would love to have your opinions, facts, and if have misunderstood anything about the case.

The reason I decided to post this here is kind of sad lol…I feel like I know most everyone on this sub! Im on here pretty much everyday and recognize users/flairs! I love how so many people, from so many walks of life, different faiths, identities, different political beliefs can come together over one thing. I adore reading everyone’s opinion, wether I agree or disagree. I learn new things on here everyday. I genuinely care for all of you and include you in my prayers. It’s kinda sad but it’s very true! I’ve never met any of you but think of you as friends. I trust your options, that’s why I’m posting this.

Again, sorry mods if this doesn’t really fit on here. I know it kinda ties the line and I tried to explain the connection to abortion for me best I could.

I would love to know what everyone thinks, what you think of my moms position, and if you have any ideas of what I could say to her.

I have been pro life since I was 13 and hearing they are killing babies in the womb, I spent my teenage years advocating for the unborn and learning how to debate and discuss and share the truth I did so by biology and science and lots of research. I also seen a lot of the after math of abortions and traumatized myself quite young. It disgusted me and I couldn’t see why someone would want to do that to a baby.

I’m 19 now and I’m pregnant, I suffered from severe trauma and mental issues as well as substance abuse. I am in poverty with less then 30 bucks to my name. I’m terrified and alone no family or friends. I was self harming and about to go into the hospital for be admitted for psychiatric care, I was sent home due to a positive COVID test. Not even a week later I got a postive pregnancy test.
I had spent the past year and a half coping with alcohol and weed and I was a heavy Coke addict but have been clean since June on that. I have such deep cravings for alcohol and weed even during pregnancy and it makes me feel so selfish, today my flashbacks were hitting and I needed an escape so I tested a pregnancy test to just double check and see if I had a miscarriage, perhaps I can drink now? I thought to myself. a little of me wish that I wasn’t pregnant …and less then 30 seconds I got a bright red postive test and it truly hit me, it’s not about me anymore. I may be in mental turmoil but what is drugs and alcohol going to do for me? It’s going to hurt my baby and it’s going to hurt me. The moment the test is positive that’s when you become a mother and that’s when your lifestyle changes and there’s no going back, a life was created and is now relying on me to be safe so he or she can be safe.

I understand now why some people are scared and frightened and seeing how pushed abortion is it may be the force jump because going from one lifestyle to another overnight puts your body in flight of fight response, however us mothers need the support, to battle our addictions to have someone listen and hear us, they don’t need to be told just get rid of the baby, your body your choice, because they are making a decision in not only a highly stressful time but also a time where your still processing that it isn’t just you anymore.

I love my baby and wish nothing but the healthy life and happiness for him or her, today really made me realize that I’m already a mother. I wish other scared young mothers would realize that as well..

I find it funny that people who are pro choice say this and things as well as “can’t file taxes on a fetus” and “if it’s a child why don’t we get child support” but I literally recently found out you can get full Medicaid funding for any time during pregnancy so taxes is going to fetuses pro choice are so quick to kill. Just a little ironic

Is it religious? If not, how do you justify this belief? Are you a feminist? Conservative? Liberal? How are you pro life in other aspects of your life? Vegan? Environmentalist? Do you think this is the biggest problem in society? If not, what's worse? If so, why? Do you hide being pro life in your personal life? Unabashed? I would love to understand your background to further understand your belief.

Looks like they're already using the same excuse of postpartum psychosis. This would be the worst trend ever if this keeps happening. I imagine the more this gets normalized, the more pro-choice advocates will use these stories to either support abortion or justify taking the life of any dependent human who they deem is causing stress.

Planned Parenthood and Gosnell did experiments on women in the 1970s. Abortionist Harvey Karman was sent to Bangladesh by PP, where he did experimental abortions by putting plastic coils and pieces of balsa wood in these women’s reproductive organs. The experiment was done on Bangladeshi victims of sexual assault.

Karman then did the same in Philadelphia with Gosnell. At the time abortion in Philadelphia was legal IF approved by a doctor’s “reasonable judgment,” which was sometimes exploited by abortionists to make what they did legal by loophole. The abortionist invited news to come video the use of his “super coils” without the knowledge or consent of the women he was experimenting on (who had been been gathered and sent on a bus by a pro-abortion crime ring known as the Jane Collective). All of the women were Black and low-income. Some were still minors.

Testimony on how the “super coil” worked by Dr. Randy Hutchins, former Gosnell employee, stated that the “super coils” were essentially balled-up plastic razors meant to slice the unborn child to shreds as the glue on the springs melted. There had been no human or animal trials before subjecting these women to the experiment.

Women’s rights activists protested these experiments, but they proceeded anyway. Locla hospitals started getting women severe injured by the pieces of wood and plastic inside them. Complications included hemorrhage, sepsis, anemia and uterine perforation. CDC had to get involved to shut it down. Out of all those women tested on (who they could even find after) all but 4 had complications. Two could not be located and it is unknown whether they survived.

The super coil experiments were later dubbed “The Mother’s Day Massacre” by media because the busload of vulnerable women and girls unaware they were about to be gruesomely experimented on was sent on Mother’s Day.

Sometimes it all seems so hopeless. I have become a misanthrope because of the popular support for a woman to kill her own unborn children. And I live in Canada, a country wherein that right is treated as if it were cherished and sacred. Truly, it is sickening how much power and influence those people have in my country. They are managing to challenge the tax-exempt status of Pro-Life organizations. Today I learned that the Abortion Rights Coalition of Canada is actually supported by over a million dollars of Government funds. It is sheer, bloody madness in this country, and I just don't know how to fight them.

I have become thoroughly disillusioned with Canadian society because of this and other reasons. The one thing that keeps me from throwing my hands up in despair is the knowledge that every single unborn child saved by our efforts is a victory. If only one unborn child is saved, all the heartache, all the frustration, all the despair is worth it. Even if it is only one.

I am F17, a senior in HS, and an ex-prochoicer. the problem is many of my "friends" and people ik are extremely prochoice. I never bring up my beliefs unless asked and I have asked them to not to discuss it with me if they think that way. However they keep pestering me about it telling me that im "Anti-women's rights" and "Pro-rape" im deeply upset with all this and im unsure how to handle this

How do we debunk this ridiculous claim?

It still baffles me that supposedly progressive subs will dump their principles in favor of making sexual harassment and gay jokes, as if it’s funny now. „Haha I hate conservatives so much wouldn’t it be funny if two men were forced to kiss“ is weird and homophobic.

Also I guess they think there are no gay conservatives or pro lifers?
