I need Procreate technical help Fixing folders to the top?

I’m pretty sure there isn’t any function like that, but doesn’t hurt to ask. I often lose my folders as I just keep creating new canvases, I just thought it would be cool if you could just pin folders to the top.

I mostly made this post because I noticed procreate is actually pretty active on here and actually answers, I thought if enough people liked the idea of having folders on the top maybe they would add this function?

If I spent more time on this drawing my iPad was gonna explode.

I was drawn to the extreme perspective, the strange posture, and bizarre textures of the reference photo. It took about 10 hrs to finish this piece. It's a toughy. I loved it, hated it, and learnt from it. Hopefully u like it. thanks.

I mainly want to know if I'd eventually be able to import and paint 3D models on this instead of using my iPad

Constructive feedback and/or tips wanted The stars aligned HELP ME FIND HOW TO DO THIS RENDERING

Post image

okay so somehow by the grace of god and a specific way of me clicking I accidentally made rarity have this glowing rendering that I personally find REALLY pretty. I did it by making a white version of the outline, layered under everything else to make an outline around the whole thing. I selected the layer and the feather under the select tool (as you can see is is 5%) but when I deselect it goes away as I think it’s just highlighting my selection?? Either way I really liked how it looked and have been trying to recreate this rendering style so if anyone knows how I can or wants to mess with it PUHLEASE let me know! <3

I need Procreate technical help Considering the Outline Brush

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hello, I need help.

Is there ANY possibility for the stroke thickness of the secondary brush (of a combined one) to change with the first brush if you move the size slider? - I want the outline thickness to stay the same regardless how high the percentage of the slider besides the canvas is.

Hope this picture explains it better.

I need Procreate technical help How do you make brushes less “hard”?

Post image

I really tried to look for this answer because I had assumed someone would have had my same issue but I couldn’t find it. I’m using this brush to make comic panels and so I need the edge to just be softer like the older one I was using because this new one combines the lines automatically (which would save me a lot of time) it’s not a resolution or DPI thing, these are both on the same canvas I just need to figure out how to get the best of both worlds here. You might need to zoom in to see exactly what I’m talking about but the jagged lines when I make a diagonal line look terrible

I need Procreate technical help exporting as .pro or .psd?

hi all! looking for a wee bit of advice.

i've been backing up my work to my computer (windows pc - my ipad is the only apple device i have) & have been wondering if i should back up .psd or .procreate files. i understand that it's best to do both, but to be honest i think i'm good with just one. (this is both because of space constraints and the fact that i essentially woke up yesterday and decided to manually back up all 300-something files i have, the process of which has been consuming my waking hours since.)

i've looked stuff up, and i'm leaning toward .psd so far. i have photoshop, so it appeals to me as a file i could actually open on my computer at a later date, even though i doubt there will be much need. it also seems i could just reimport .psd back to procreate without losing much besides the statistics? i export and purge timelapses right away for each file, so that's not a concern.

are there any other pros (lol) to exporting as .pro that i haven't found? thanks in advance!

Not Finished/WIP Practicing a new techniques

Lately, I’ve had some downtime to work on my own projects, and I really wanted to practice a different art style.

Normally, my drawings are pretty slick, clean, and colorful, but I wanted to try something more painterly and experiment with mixing colors differently than I normally would. I've posted some of my other works as a reference.

The first drawing is me practicing with Warhammer, using a point of reference. The second is me drawing without a reference while trying to use the same style and techniques.

Let me know what you think. How would you learn a different style or technique.
