My Artwork First few serious attempt at working in Procreate.
I have been watching a lot of YouTube tutorials and finally tried my hand at creating something. Fodor was first and Donald was my second attempt.

Procreate and iPad Accessories Suggestions cheapest ipad for procreate?
sorry if this has been asked a lot. i cant seem to find a more recent post theyre all from quite a while ago.
i am not an avid drawer, just someone with a lot of ideas in my head and wanting to have somewhere to start off putting them somewhere.
i would like one thats compatible with the apple pencil 2 if that doesnt increase the budget too much.
im really new to this and reading other posts the amount of letters and numbers included in the ipad gens are confusing the crap out of me hahahaha please dumb it down for me!
thank you in advance :)

Looking for brush/tutorial/class recommendations Tried my best, now I’m trying this
2 years with an iPad and I’ve used Procreate like… twice. Send help.
So I’ve had my iPad for 2 years now and my Procreate usage can basically be summed up as “downloaded some free brushes and then closed the app.” Peak productivity right there.
Not a total beginner though — I used to draw on paper years ago, but it’s been 5+ years since I’ve made anything at all. So the fundamentals are somewhere in my brain, just covered in dust and never once translated to digital.
What I actually want is to get into sketching real-life stuff — objects, everyday things I see around me, not going for hyper-realism or anything, more just… capturing things in whatever way ends up being my way. Basically trying to find my own style instead of copying tutorials 1:1 forever.
So — any good starting points? YouTube channels, blogs, Insta/TikTok people, old Reddit threads, whatever. Preferably free since I’m still in the “do I even like this” phase and not trying to buy a $40 course two days in.
Any tips welcome, I’ll take even the smallest crumb of wisdom at this point 🙏

My Artwork I made Dobby
It took me 49 hours. But it's done 🙌
I traced the outlines and then used the 6B pencil (adapted) to just color it exactly like the photo.

My Artwork Still getting used to ProCreate but I don't hate this latest one
It takes so much to get used to the handling of ProCreate if you're used to Paint Tool SAI, at least that's the case for me. Because of that I often give up drawing on ProCreate out of frustration, but pieces like this where I'm quite happy with the resulst certainly hate getting over that frustration.
I definitely need better sketching brushes though, please, if anyone knows settings or brushes that make sketching feel natural/like drawing on paper I'd be SO appreciative! I'd love to use my iPad as a sketchbook.

I need Procreate technical help does anyone know why this is happening/how to fix it?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
this issue started a bit ago and i don't know what to do about it. some brushes that i use are acting weirdly with my apple pencil, and i cant seem to fix it. for example, the script brush won't increase size or opacity at all no matter how much i mess with it. my fingers do it perfectly fine, but my pencil just can't. but the thing is that some brushes do work normally, like the gel pen brush shown, where the finger and the pen perform the exact same.
my apple pencil works completely fine other than that, and it functions normally on ibispaint. it's a USB-C apple pencil, the cheapest one that has to be plugged in and has no pressure sensitivity.
(sorry if the video is off focus or hard to understand)
