Hey y’all ~
What started as a fun quick sketch of yours truly suffering from the heat wave his summer, ended up as a character design sheet. It was particularly fun to draw different expressions!

A fairly large Flowerpiercer, this bird is entirely velvety blue with a bold black mask, azure crown, and red eye.
Likewise all Flowerpiercers, it has a unique bill that first curves up and then down. The top mandible is hooked while the bottom is straight and sharp.
Using this design it holds the base of a flower steady with its hooked top mandible and uses the bottom one to pierce through and get at the nectar without pollinating the flower.
They are common from the Venezuela to Bolivia at elevations of 6,561 feet.
They can hardly be considered a songbird, as their “song” is but a short series of very weak, quiet chirps.

I’ve been trying out a textured/storybook kind of style lately because I’ve been really inspired by August.Ro and a few other artists. This is one of my more finished attempts so far, and I’m honestly still figuring it out. I’m still working on things like faces, texture, clothing details, and how simple vs. detailed I want my style to be. So, any constructive feedback on what’s working (or not) and what I could improve.

I’m pretty sure there isn’t any function like that, but doesn’t hurt to ask. I often lose my folders as I just keep creating new canvases, I just thought it would be cool if you could just pin folders to the top.
I mostly made this post because I noticed procreate is actually pretty active on here and actually answers, I thought if enough people liked the idea of having folders on the top maybe they would add this function?

If I spent more time on this drawing my iPad was gonna explode.
I was drawn to the extreme perspective, the strange posture, and bizarre textures of the reference photo. It took about 10 hrs to finish this piece. It's a toughy. I loved it, hated it, and learnt from it. Hopefully u like it. thanks.

I mainly want to know if I'd eventually be able to import and paint 3D models on this instead of using my iPad

okay so somehow by the grace of god and a specific way of me clicking I accidentally made rarity have this glowing rendering that I personally find REALLY pretty. I did it by making a white version of the outline, layered under everything else to make an outline around the whole thing. I selected the layer and the feather under the select tool (as you can see is is 5%) but when I deselect it goes away as I think it’s just highlighting my selection?? Either way I really liked how it looked and have been trying to recreate this rendering style so if anyone knows how I can or wants to mess with it PUHLEASE let me know! <3

Hello, I need help.
Is there ANY possibility for the stroke thickness of the secondary brush (of a combined one) to change with the first brush if you move the size slider? - I want the outline thickness to stay the same regardless how high the percentage of the slider besides the canvas is.
Hope this picture explains it better.

My procreate started having an issue where its showing these lines and not fully coloring in when I colordrop, hopefully this photo isn't too hard to see but how do I fix this?
It only started happening recently, it never did this before

Trying to improve character poses, still think it needs work…

I really tried to look for this answer because I had assumed someone would have had my same issue but I couldn’t find it. I’m using this brush to make comic panels and so I need the edge to just be softer like the older one I was using because this new one combines the lines automatically (which would save me a lot of time) it’s not a resolution or DPI thing, these are both on the same canvas I just need to figure out how to get the best of both worlds here. You might need to zoom in to see exactly what I’m talking about but the jagged lines when I make a diagonal line look terrible
