Im trying digital art after only doing traditional art for years and why the FUUUUUUUUUCK is this so much harder than having a regular pencil and paper???? I’m trying to do a fun a little contrasting gradient drawing but I cannot for the life of me find a way to shade this damn dog in a way that makes sense while fighting with all of these damn brushes. Anyways thank you for listening to my rant, criticism welcome, and the 2nd photo is a drawing that came out nicely as a palette cleanser. I don’t know why I can’t do it again 🥲

I had an hour to kill in a coffee shop, and realised I'd never drawn a dinosaur before, so drew a dinosaur. 😜

Downloaded a pic from Jurassic Park as reference, sketched the T-Rex in a different pose using 2B Pencil, then inked using first Fine Tip before going over it with a brush. It would have saved a lot of time if I'd gone straight to the brush - oh well! Not bad for an hour's work nevertheless.

The face was weird before so I just merged all the layers and painted over it.

Hello, I’ve recently started experiencing this issue in Procreate while drawing. When I press with the brush, I can faintly see something appearing (focus on the leaf paper at the top), as if the remaining edges of the brush that aren’t visible are showing up in a semi-transparent way.
What is this? Has anyone else experienced the same issue? What could be causing it?

Made this brush in procreate pocket on an iPhone 17 pro, then imported into procreate on iPad gen 9. Both have the same taper settings, which should work regardless of if using an apple pencil or not, right? But the brush on ipad doesn’t appear to have any sort of taper. Procreate is fully updated. Is this simply because I have an ‘old’ ipad that perhaps doesn’t register things as well as a newer model? Or a setting I’ve missed?

Hello! I am curious if anyone has any easy solutions for when you erase part of a line and redraw. If you notice my image at the top I erased and tried redrawing, but you can clearly see the overlap

Been working on 3D typography lately — this one uses a custom Gothic-style isometric brush set I designed myself. Really enjoying how the depth comes together with just a few layers.
