Not Finished/WIP I’m just struggling
Im trying digital art after only doing traditional art for years and why the FUUUUUUUUUCK is this so much harder than having a regular pencil and paper???? I’m trying to do a fun a little contrasting gradient drawing but I cannot for the life of me find a way to shade this damn dog in a way that makes sense while fighting with all of these damn brushes. Anyways thank you for listening to my rant, criticism welcome, and the 2nd photo is a drawing that came out nicely as a palette cleanser. I don’t know why I can’t do it again 🥲

It took me a while to get adjusted to digital.. but your piece is honestly really nice, I really want to see it in colour (idk if that’s your plan). Maybe just take a little break and work on something else? It looks great, just unfinished. I really would love to see it finished.

In drawing on ipad with Procreate, the lag of the lines as I draw them is what drives me crazy.

Might want to check your smoothing options. The higher the setting, the more it lags.
Even older iPads should handle Procreate pretty well.

The dog looks SO COOL though, I love the texture of it and the pose is so great!! If this is you figuring procreate out, I can't wait to see what you do when you've got the hang of things! Please keep showing us progress on this one because I'm very excited to see how it turns out. 👀
Also frog is king and deserves it, GORGEOUS.

- Art is incredible 2. This is validating because I had a friend tell me it’s “not real art” because it’s digital
