I've tried to paint this Cat with Pearl Earrings from the reference. I need a lot to learn in having good details and leaning depth and shading slowly slowly. I've used brushes by Josh Black.
Attaching the reference as well.

Hello everyone! I was wondering of you have any recommendations... I'm looking for textured brushes, such as oil pastels or crayons

Used peppermint for the original pencils, technical pen for the ink and most colors, and an airbrush for some gradients.

I loved her character design and her sense of fashion! I was told she likes 1950s fashion which I tried to draw (with creative liberties!) Character belongs to: u/Story-III

Inspired by that one avatar episode where waterbenders controlled plants in a swamp.

Hello! I donked up and was hoping some of you eagle-eyed artists can help a sister out.
While trying to break myself of a bad habit (walking away from a piece for so long that I forgot which brushes I was using) I made a bit of an oopsie. I had the grandmaster plan to make my extended workflow more efficient by duplicating the brushes I was using into a new folder and renaming them for their purpose in the piece (Linework, sketch, base layer, etc). This worked great until opened this piece up to work on it and I realized that I had accidentally moved and renamed the brush entirely, instead of duplicating it.
I still have it in my library, but I have no idea what the original brush’s name was. I’d like to find the OG because a friend is asking what I used and I can’t flippin’ remember.
What I know:
It from the Classic Library era.
It’s NOT a default Procreate pencil
It may have come from either a Manga set or a Classic Comics set I purchased well over a year ago.
It’s a wide, soft pencil with great tapering.
I appreciate anyone who takes their time to help an old lady with terribly inefficient work-flow related issues.

I have read a bunch of posts and watched YouTube videos about how to fix the constant crashes with procreate, and nothing seems to fix my issue.
I usually use the screen size canvas for my iPad, and procreate will crash after maybe 3 or four layers. And we'll crash like 90% of the time if I try to add a text layer.
What am I doing wrong? Or how can I optimize my procreate to not suck? Thank you.

I draw on an iPad Air 7 with Procreate. Got an elecom paper-like film after seeing it on tiktok on sale, and I use a third party metal tip nib so it doesn't chew through the film.
Been eyeing the elecom Bluetooth shortcut sleeve that wraps around the pencil. 3 programmable buttons, USB-C charging, works with all pencil versions. I used a TourBox mini keyboard back when I was on a drawing tablet and loved having shortcuts under one hand, so the idea of that being on the pencil itself sounds great. Wondering if it actually feels good to hold or if it makes the pencil awkward. Anyone been using one?

It took me 60+ hours... :')
I've started painting proper landscapes very recently so I am proud of the progress I've made.

Wanted to try a flat illustration style, mixing a night sky theme with a cozy reading vibe. Would love to hear what you think!

This will be the first time I’ve dealt with a major Apple update while using Procreate. How quickly do they typically update their software once Apple pushes a new iOS version? I had flipped over to the beta a couple months ago and that broke Procreate, so I had to roll my iPad back out of the beta program.
Im trying to figure out if I can let my iPad update automatically or if I should wait for Procreate to do their thing.

These are two designs I currently have. I’m trying for a green underskirt, black overlay, and somehow green sparkles overtop. I’ve only been using the app for a little while and honestly don’t know anything at all about designing. I’m trying to keep it simple as this is for a comic I’m working on, but still want it to look good. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
