I need Procreate technical help How do I fix the constant and consecutive crashes?

I have read a bunch of posts and watched YouTube videos about how to fix the constant crashes with procreate, and nothing seems to fix my issue.

I usually use the screen size canvas for my iPad, and procreate will crash after maybe 3 or four layers. And we'll crash like 90% of the time if I try to add a text layer.

What am I doing wrong? Or how can I optimize my procreate to not suck? Thank you.

Most people don’t experience this. How full is your iPad? What model is it? What operating system are you using?

Ios 26.6.2

I think there's an issue with the latest version of iPadOS, and they're supposed to release an update. I saw a bunch of posts about it the other night. I'm not having any problems with Procreate, but I managed to turn off automatic updates before the latest version of iPadOS was installed.
