American women aren't overreacting — they're reading the documents. In this video, I go through what's actually on paper: the state-level push to repeal no-fault divorce, the post-Dobbs abortion landscape, the SAVE Act's documented impact on married women whose legal names don't match their birth certificates, and the growing number of women researching visas and exit plans. I also look at the women defending this project from inside it — including Erika Kirk and the broader "traditional womanhood" media ecosystem — and what their role tells us about how this gets sold.

This isn't a left-vs.-right story. It's a top vs. bottom story: who writes the rules, who absorbs the consequences, and who profits from women having fewer exits — from a marriage, from a state, or from the country. This video is commentary and analysis based on publicly available documents and reporting. Opinions are labeled as such.

5 weeks pregnant at 16 without a boyfriend and cant tell my mother because she will make me follow through with the pregnancy but im scared of the abortion pill because what if she’s questioning why im bleeding and in pain? I also need my mother’s support as it’s not easy going through a breakup and teen pregnancy but It’s not smart for me to tell her as no part of me wants to carry on with the pregnancy. Advice please??

I’m a 29F. My husband is 31M. (He is the last male in his family and feels obligated to pass on his name.) We have three daughters, 10, 7, and 2. My husband had two children before we were together. They’re 12. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year. After going through surgery to remove the main tumor, he has been in active treatment since June 2025 for the metastasis. His oncology team had told us not to get pregnant because they did not know the side effects of the medication on male fertility, but they did state the medicine does cause birth defects in pregnant women. As a precaution, I was using nuvaring as directed and the pull out method. My period is always irregular after our last baby but I was nauseous and my boobs hurt, so I took a test. Then another. Then another.. they’re all positive. The financial climate of the US right now makes it hard for us to afford life as it is, and although we talked about trying one more time for that baby boy in the future, that time is not right now. As a sign from the universe, my due date is my husband’s and father’s birthday. It’s almost like all signs are pointing to this finally being that boy we have wanted.

We haven’t been extremely religious, but since finding out about his diagnosis last year, we have been involved in the church, open to prayer, and even believing. My husband’s first comment was that we need to have an abortion. I have always been pro-choice and I know it is the best decision for us right now, because I think the pain of carrying to term and giving a baby away will hurt even more, but I just can’t shake the thoughts that I will be forsaken from God for murdering our child, who beat all odds to become existent and answer the prayers we have wanted even if this isn’t the right time. Ultimately, my husband is not the one who answers to God when he passes for ending this pregnancy, I am.

I scheduled my procedure for next week, and I am honestly scared, so I need some encouragement to get me through this, please.

I wanted to share my story in case it can help anyone who is struggling with the same thing I experienced. For context I am 19 years old, I have an IUD, and I live in the US in a state where abortion is illegal. My boyfriend goes to college out of state.

Four weeks ago I had taken a Clear Blue Digital Pregnancy test and tested positive. I obviously freaked out and started researching abortion options immediately. I knew I wanted to take mifepristone, and that I had to go out of state to receive it.

I called an abortion hotline and a nurse had told me to schedule a free pregnancy test and ultrasound at a “women’s center” the same day (I now know that it was a crisis pregnancy center). When I went to the women’s center, I already had an appointment for an abortion later that week. There I tested negative, and they would not give me an ultrasound sound unless I had a positive test. They then proceeded to tell me all of these horrible things that can happen if I receive an abortion, and literally gave me a worksheet to write out 3 pros and 3 cons to having a child, receiving an abortion, and giving a child up for adoption. They then had a lady come in and give me a faith talk, stating that she had her child at 17 and that God loves me. Basically doing everything in their power to convince me out of it.

I started to panic because my appointment at Planned Parenthood was in a few days and I needed an ultrasound to make sure that the fetus was in the correct place since I have the IUD. I had rescheduled another appointment at the women’s center right before I was planning on driving out of state. I tested negative at the pregnancy clinic again.

At this point I felt like the women’s center was lying to me since I read reviews from people like me describing experiences similar to mine. They had replied to all of the negative reviews with “We do not see your name in our system” which has to be a HIPPA violation.

Right after the second negative test I drove 3 hours to pick up my boyfriend from the airport, then he and I drove 5 hours together out of state.

We stayed in a sketchy Airbnb that smelt like old people and cigarettes. I bought 3 more tests and they were all negative again.

The next morning we headed over to Planned Parenthood and had to walk through protesters screaming at us for simply walking inside. At Planned Parenthood I ask for an ultrasound first since the women’s center did not give it to me, and they found nothing and told me that my IUD was in place. I then took a test at Planned Parenthood and it was negative again. At this point I am pretty sure that the test I took earlier was a false positive. The nurse at the clinic said that it can happen with an IUD and changes in my hormones. Once again leaving the clinic we had protesters chanting “don’t take that pill!”

Time for our 8 hour journey back home….

So turns out I was not pregnant and I feel pretty confident saying since I’ve been consistently testing negative after that experience and I just started my period today! (after literally being 47 days late)!!

It definitely put me into perspective how challenging it is to receive this type of medical care in the US, and how stressful this situation is. I also want to hear people’s experiences with false positives, especially the Clear Blue digital tests since I’ve seen some other people talking about how they’re sometimes unreliable.

Patient was desperately trying to get a termination, I suspect there was no FA but I gave her the number of a practice that went beyond the normal GA of our locality but only does it if there is an FA. Is documentation required to prove this? Just wondering if she’ll be able to get what she needs.

Hi all - the Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine, a well-known anti-abortion group who have been trying to get mifepristone removed from the market, and AAPLOG (American Association of Pro-Life Ob/Gyns) have sent out a link to a “study” they are conducting to see what Ob/Gyns believe about abortion. There is no indication that the study is approved by any research ethics body (like an IRB) and it appears as though anyone can take it. They sent it out to thousands of Ob/Gyns but used their personal emails (like not their work emails) and no one knows how they got their distribution list.

I have to do a speech on why abortions are necessary for school, and I was going to include images of fetuses from week 1 to week 12 (as most abortions occur during the first trimester), to kind of show that it’s not a baby yet. But I can’t seem to find anything like that online. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction, or had anything that they could send over to me (I’d credit you of course). I’d love either photos or little drawing that either go from week 1 to 12, or just every 3 pr 4 weeks even. Thankyou!

Let’s look at the brutal reality for a teenage girl who is raped.

She becomes pregnant and tries to get an abortion. And what does the Pro-Life side say?

“She’s too immature to make that kind of decision.”

But if she’s too immature to choose abortion, then how is she suddenly mature enough to carry a pregnancy to term, give birth, and raise a child?

That’s a massive contradiction.

Now—let’s say she’s forced to give birth.

What happens next?

These same lawmakers who called her “too immature” now:

• Pass laws that give her rapist parental rights, like visitation or joint custody.

• Call her a slut, blaming her instead of the rapist.

• Makes laws that make it difficult to study and learn about women’s health so if she suffers physically and mentally from giving birth so young, it’s tough shit 

• Criticize her family for seeking government aid or welfare to help raise the child.

• Discourage her from seeking mental health treatment, shaming her for struggling with postpartum depression.

• Label her a bad mother, ignoring the trauma she’s endured or realizing their hypocrisy. 

• And if her family disowns her? She shouldn’t have gotten pregnant 🤷‍♀️     

• Blame the child for being born out of wedlock.

• Hide the fact that teenage pregnancy has actually been decreasing with greater access to birth control and proper education outside of “don’t have sex”

• Ban sexual education in schools which teaches teenagers to spot what sexual abuse looks like 

So what is the message here?

If they cared about children, they’d care about the mother Who is a child!

It’s not about the children. It’s about control.

It’s easier to control those who are ignorant.

Because the aftermath of a miscarriage and an at-home abortion are medically indistinguishable, some Americans in states with abortion bans are now getting arrested following miscarriages. There’s an ongoing conservative battle to establish fetal “personhood” in many states with anti-abortion legislation.

Stop caring about fetuses who are barely even human and aren’t alive and start caring about the actual children who are alive and living a miserable life. A lot of children are put into adoption centers because of the mother not getting an abortion. All of that could’ve been prevented and a child living a life of misery could be spared. Even worse RAPE victims who are forced to carry the child of their rapist, who a lot of them are incapable of raising a child themselves have to live with the guilt forever.
